That is what I initially thought. However, I managed to hold up better agaisnt VB than I thought I would, and I eventually managed to beat him. With Craaig's exposed chassis, I should stand a better chance to get through. If Craaig defeats VB, then I'm through no matter what happens. =D
That chassis isn't quite as exposed as you think it is, believe me :P

the  are you talking about ? the distance between both discs is fine. It's not like anything else than a specialized design can strike the chassis between both discs.

Invertibility is easy enough, just remove the secondary tite skirts, add something to raise the motors where they were attached, and chuck on the NPCs. Should make it turn better too as it would be wider. And you could shrink the chassis so there's less of a chasm in the middle of the discs :P
