Basically it's a style of music that replicates the sound capabilities and hardware limitations of early computers and gaming consoles. You'd be surprised what can be accomplished with 4 sound channels (voices / instruments), each only able to produce a sine, triangle, square or pulse wave.

If you haven't heard of this before, check it out and tell me what do you think about it. But anyone that hasn't known the C64 / Amiga era will probably hate it.

No Naryar, in modern English there is no space before an exclamation mark. That is only in the French language.

Yeah, but it's more about the typography. French rule of thumb: All two-part punctuation marks get spaces from both sides. English rule of thumb: **** it, put a space after the sign.

Yeah, but unfortunately, I don't remember enough to be conversant. I still remember the structure, though, so relearning the language would just be a matter of rebuilding my vocabulary.


If you have the time, I suggest learning it. I may have just had a really good teacher, but it was a very easy language to learn. There are no plurals, and every sentence has the same basic structure. Oh, and to make questions out of sentences, no rephrasing is needed. You just add a か (ka) to the end. Sample I: なまえ　は　ジェッフ　です。(namae wa Jeffu desu.--My name is Jeff.) なまえ　は　ジェッフ　です　か？　(namae wa Jeffu desu ka?--Is my name Jeff?)

I was hoping to attend some Japanese lessons, I really want to, but it's insanely expensive. I know a bit about the language's grammar and some words, but it's not much. I envy your knowledge of it, I'd trade my French for some Japanese any day.

Driv3r for GBA did pretty impressive 3D with physics (unrealistic physics, but physics nonetheless).



I suggest checking out the ROM. It's a lot of fun.

Impressive, although graphics look mainly like mode 7 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mode_7), and car physics are easy to do compared to a full RB physics engine like modern games use.
