Single HS are hard to make effective, sadly (because I love the things). Best way to do it is just make a Sheck Spinner.

Try something else instead :P

Instead of using an extender, just attach the perm directly to the ME, eliminates one weak link.

Putting something under the disc is rarely helpful. What you want to do is get some stabilisers positioned in such a way that the disc is barely off the ground. A wider wheel stance helps with turning and stability too.

Testing a couple of tweaks to a bot, and it turns out that Fat Rat is a highly competant flipper.

With havoks help xD

It looks even more like mine now :P

And therein lies my problem. So I decided to experiment with other potential juggler designs.

Plastic 5, 4 ants, NPC-F, Dual-mags, and possibly the coolest juggler setup I've ever built. Doesn't like to leave things go, either. Comes with halfsheet bottom protection, and shell panels for the front and back. Not that much will get there until the rest of the bot is shredded.

Lol, you could probably get a reserve team going if you need to. I'll play any class, but I prefer sniper/demo/spy :L

Aerial ace on dragonite seems redundant as its only use is on fighting, grass and bug types, and as you have fire punch for grass and bug, outrage does the same amount of damage to fighters anyways. Earthquake would deal with cobalion and lucario who would resist. So I would change it for something to improve coverage :L

Lawl I started this trend really.
It looks too thin and the chassis wedges look too long. If you look at may RIW3 bot, it has the chassis wedges angled slightly outwards from the main body. That should get you enough width without wasting weight on widening the whole chassis.
I'd also try and angle the weapons on each hex plate slightly upwards (on the top plates by using the side attachment point on the side of the beater bar) as it means the light DS tooth would be making contact instead of the beater, dealing more damage.

Thing is, I'm trying not to klone here. And the way the beaters are set up on the flatbed part maximises the surface in contact- at the moment the beaters and the ds teeth hit the underside at the same time, the other way only the ds teeth hit. However, thats logical, so it probably doesn't apply.

To be fair I don't know why I didn't think of using weapons to feed into the flatbed part beforehand. And I've been building jugglers for 2 years.

Yep, to help feed into the wedge. It's also plastic 3 btw xD

Thanks for the vote, makes me feel good about my building :D

Woah bump

Since I said I would build something to Ty, but I paid no attention to what he said I should build, I present my first take on one of those jugglers...

My main problem is the wheel unrealisticyness, and the problems it causes when turning. Though that might just be my wiring. Who knows. Seems to be fairly wedgy, and once its under something it does not like to leave go.

And you can have my BotM bot too..its actually quite good, but my splash skills suck and it is fairly unoriginal :P
(spoilered for humungousness)

i thought i'd give avalanche, kurt and gtg a chance by showing them my bot so they might be able to counter it somehow

5 ants, tite 1 and nothing has ko'd it so far in nar ai. excellent gut ripper and outweaponer

original, efficient and cool enough naryar?

This type of bot makes traditional flatbed jugglers inferior. May have to make a few of these...

Just got back from Scotland- missed out on taking a photo of an osprey by chance, so annoying. Got snaps of other stuff though :P
That must have taken a while to get there. Which part of Scotland did you visit?

About 30 miles north of Perth, near Pitlochry :D
