PMbomb'd. Just out of interest, what happens in Sumo if you push EMERGENCY off the platform, drive off with it, but because you were underneath EMERGENCY, you hit the ground first?

Looking excellent there, Sonny. The top bar looks a little bit too short to me, though.

404, 500, Slowness...

Fail server connect 3!

Do you think that's what's been happening? ACAMS using the GTM server to play Battleships with some guy in Arkansas?

Snow Job might be a good idea. Coal Miner might be a bit easy to get under.

And yes, you can reskin components, I think. Jonzu has that reskinned plow.

Ooh, looking very nice. Shame about the skin blip, though.

Is everybody just entering a flipper for the wedge advantage?

It's in the Downloads, should be Madiaba's SZ and something.

I think I've just gotten into the habit of building chassis as small as I can. Less weight for the chassis means more weight for stuff. Anyhow, here's what I've got in mind for Jonzu's RW Series 8 tourney.

398.7, Aluminium armour. I wanted to keep the appearance of the casters and wheelguards on the first version with the blades, but they actually deal some okay damage too. Technically invertible as well, but it can also self-right reliably.

It's something to do with the .gib, I think. Or you could put them in Starcore if you want to. There's no limit to the number of AI teams you can have, though (that we know of), so there wouldn't be too much bother in having twice as many teams.

SKIN THAT PLOW DAMMIT
(Image removed from quote.)
That's actually quite similar to my entry. Only yours is infinitely more colourful than mine. Which armour have you got?
Titanium
Ah, I have Aluminium. But the plow doesn't look too bad.

This is very off topic but is NAR AI supposed to take 35 minuetes to download?
Depends on how fast your internet is, and what else you're doing at that point.

Absolutely not. At least not for this. Basteplate anchors do exactly the same things as ME's, but are heavier.

Do the rest of the bots act as byebots? Will they go through to Round 2 after beating a GTM'er, or will the have to withdraw as a result of electrical infidelity? 'Cause I'm not certain it'll be as interesting as it would be if all the GTM'ers are defeated quite early on.

They are a lot better than I thought they were going to be. Nice work, Jonzu. =) Maybe Robot Wars Series 8 will actually be quite good.

Emergency might be a bit OP for this. But I'd be fine with that if there are no other candidates. I'd say Big Dog, but that's nowhere near OP enough.

I've always wanted to try that, but I don't know if there's an AI that will make the bots go for the ball, rather than each other. At the moment, it's just a regular arena with a giant ball in the middle.

Just out of interest (I've already got my entry sorted, hopefully. :gawe:), is it one entry per member, or how many will we be able to enter?
