Once AIDS/HIV hits the air, it's dead. I'm no doctor, and I'm intoxicated, but I think that means it's impossible to get HIV from coffee. It pretty much must come from bodily fluids (no exceptions are coming to mind).
EDIT: Seek medical attention anyway. If you've been feeling ill that long, it could be serious.

'According to Jim' is the worst scripted show to have ever existed.

She didn't start any of it, and she did stop it. The courage was plucked up to tell me, but obviously I'm angry. It's our 2nd anniversary on Friday... odd for 2 people who are only 16 XD
Don't let your anger control you. I suggest approaching this friend/non-friend and calmly talking to him about the situation and about how much this girl means to you. REMEMBER: Keep your cool, always! If you get physical with the guy, you could end up driving your girl away.

I always feel awful whenever somebody posts one of those pictures. They probably get too much sh** in real life as it is.

I got it for my dunno-what-manieth birthday, but probably somewhere between '96 and '98, and it came with Super Mario 64. My family was a bit poor, so they didn't go for the Mario 64 bundle. But that's ok. I got banana controller with my copy of DK 64. Recently (well, when the super smash bros-tourney-thing was around on RFSHQ) I downloaded an emulator and started playing, actually clearing Diddy Kong Racing..but then there's a 'new challenge'. Every track is mirrorred and stuff and the coins are on near impossible positions.
What I loved about DKR is that is wasn't just a kart racer; it had a lot of depth. The inclusion of boss races was brilliant, as were all of the hidden things within the tracks. It was superior to Mario Kart 64 in every way. The weapons were upgradable, the karts could also be other vehicles, the graphics were actually polygons instead of 2D sprites in a vaguely 3Dish world, it had a decent physics engine, and the list could go on for days. That's what made Diddy Kong Racing DS so disappointing. Again, it was released after Mario Kart, but failed to improve upon it. Those who worked on Mario Kart DS knew that making the players take their hands on the controls to stroke the screen or blow into the mic would cause issues, so they didn't do it. Too bad Rare didn't figure this out.

So..... we're keeping this thread going?
YES DAMN IT!!!! Wait, there's ppl around whose first N64 game WASN'T Super Mario 64? Wth..
I didn't get an N64 until Christmas '97, and by that point, none of the local stores had Mario 64... at least not when I actually had money to buy one of those expensive cartridges.

So, 027 LB, I notice you have a Diddy Kong Racing avatar. Diddy Kong Racing was my first N64 game. It was marvelous! The DS remake wasn't so good. The removal of certain Rare characters, the changing of the voices, and the touch screen and microphone additions were more annoying than fun.

The problem is that the motor would use more energy than the generator could provide. Too much energy would be lost due to heat and such.

when are people called veteran here anyway? i had been part of the old RA2 forum before i forgot about it and am pretty much a MW (by now then). just wondering about this, nothing much.
Time nor post counts have anything to do with whether or not somebody is a veteren. To be a veteran, you must earn the respect of the community at large. If you have to ask if you're considered a veteran, the answer is no.
Are you considered a veteran?
I've been considered a veteran since... 2003? It was nearly a year after I first joined the forums, so whenever that was.

I saw Saw 1 (see what I did there?) in the theaters on Halloween back in '04. I was only 16, but they didn't ask to see my ID, so it was all good. The movie was no good, though. I found the thing to be a bore, and predicted that the "dead man" in the middle wasn't dead right when they showed him. As the laws of horror movies go, if a horror movie doesn't show the person die, they are definitely not dead.

Anything from the Foundation for a Better Life. With a name like that, they've got to be up to something nefarious.

to come back :D I invite alot of people back after long inactivity, we need a bigger comunity.
I think you've got the wrong thread. As many of you know, I'm a horror movie buff, so choosing a favorite is a bit difficult. I guess I'll go with the George A. Romero "...of the Dead" series. Instead of just mindless violence and feasting on flesh, Romero's zombie movies ( Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead, and the upcoming Survival of the Dead) all feature some serious social commentary, and use zombies only as a metaphor. That is where the remakes of his movies all fail (except for the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead, where Romero served as an executive producer and wrote the updated screenplay).

Not when the nearest town (4 miles away) only has 200 people in it.
I figured if Moscow, ID has one, everywhere must have one at least nearby. I guess I should have listened to the old saying, "If you assume, you make an 'ass' out of Uma Thurman."
