Hello Everybody, I just made an update on Bane III:

I moved half of the razors two the top of the panels to add more defense should Bane encounter high weapon HS. It can still take out all the LWs, and most of the MWS as well. And yes Naryar, I will be waiting for version 1.0.

Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Flail shell spinners use the Trinity glitch anyways, so not realistic.

How so?

flail spinners will not be allowed, because they are not ever implemented in real life.

For the record, one version of mauler was a flail shell spinner with maces at the end of chains. But I do see your point, and it makes sense.

It would almost seam to me that wedge is bad for it. SHould any bot get under it, the weapon can't really hit. But if you didn't have the wedge, they would be able to hit.

Just a thought.

This is dumb. Makes me want to quit RA2 forever.

This is why the secret of AAMing was protected by old-era vets.

I can't help but kind of agree with you. I sort of regret making this thread in the first place.

ACAMS enforced the Sig Size law. You need to shrink your sig so it fits within a 200x600 rectangle.

I do indeed like its design. Especially the weapon placement. Looks like it preforms effectivly as well.

Normals on a componets means there is a set spot on a weapon which deals damage. The weapon will not do damage should you hit an oponent with a different part of it.

Non-invertability is the only issue I see now...

You could still shrink the chassis, but its a matter of choice I guess.

Looks very nice.

Boy that sounds familiar...

Anyway, I like the bot.  The only main problem I see is how exposed the spinner panels are to attacks from high HS.

That isn't the best idea for a VS of that kind.... but do as you wish.

I would try to use razors, as they deal much more damage than beaterbars. (EDIT: I see that you have a bit of a theme going with the beaterbars, so I will leave that be).

I would also try to make your chassis more rectangular and thinner, as this will decrease weight while still allowing you to fit in all of your components.

EDIT: Roboman, do not encourage him to botfile edit. Shrinking the chassis really won't help the bot very much, and its pretty cheap anyway.
