Thx, could you make an arena than is uber-enlarged so everything is on a microscopic (bacteria) sized scale.
There's the Honey, I shrunk the bots! arena in DSL.

Oi, if anyone has ideas/requests, please let me know, I love to make components and arenas.

Let's bring some life back to this topic! Here's a gas engine JoeBlo requested (left click if you want a bigger image): I can provide a download link if anyone wants to check it out.

Well, there's just a few old programs that can't be transferred into Windows 7 if you upgrade, because they are either entrenched in the coding or just too old.
A well, then ima gona getan xp then ( doing the same thing as reier actaully) Why? Cause doom is too awsome
Doom will work. We're talking about old games that haven't been ported to newer systems like the doom engine. Go on and use a 9 year old operating system if you really want to.

Hell yeah RFS. I like that you try to make the bots realistic, those glitchbots I see everywhere are getting boring.

cool, but I think it messes with my RA2.
I also can't alter HTML directly.
ad 1: RA2 works perfectly. ad 2: Um, right click on file, open with notepad?

anywhere i can get it free and safely?
If you can't find it on your own, you won't be able to use it anyway. Especially not the RA2 export tools. Please don't make us go through all of this again.

Q. Is this PE better in Python than C++?
Of course not, but Python is better for rapid development. Once I have the system working stable (and it's more-or-less complete), I'll starting porting the engine to C / C++. Also, thanks to effe I have made the constraint system more precise today, but it has also became a little bit unstable, I'll have to work it out.

Of course I don't mind! If you provide me with blueprints I can even model some more stuff for you.

This is from scratch. After I do some optimizations, I'm gonna take care of collisions.

It's mostly me learning how to program soft body physics engines. Next step are collisions (+qtrees for optimizations), then comes 3d. And then... we'll see.

sodaplay?
No. Soft-body physics coded from scratch in Python.

This may or may not have something to do with RA3.
