I'd say change the transparency value of the GMF but now that I think about it that affects the whole thing...
Did you try to find the area where it picks up the side skin from on the BMP file? Or did you try changing the color of the GMF file? 1543

You can't listen to music like that quietly.
Anyone have any good serious fundraising ideas? My schools robotics team needs some. I don't want or need stupid ones like kidnap someone and hold them for ransom or obvious ones like hold a pizza sale. 1545

DSL TC Showcases / Re: SKBT's showcase« on: November 10, 2011, 09:36:22 PM »Not sure if you need 2 hex plates though. I guess if it looks cooler with them then it's fine. The 2nd hexplate is there to act as a spacer to center the beater bars. Also if I remove the wheel guards and stuff that makes it look cool, and add 4 more beater bars it's actually a pretty competitive regular DSL bot. 1547

Don't 'Toro' style flippers are more mechanically efficient but they don't get as much throw compaired to a UK style flipper. Trust me, my flipper 'Phoenix' has a larger ram than Vertigo's flipper 'Explosion' but gets less height and distance its flips.

I don't usually like to plug my own bots but take a look at how I made my MW VS's. It might be a lighter setup than what you are using now.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: November 07, 2011, 11:43:28 AM »You know what, GTM has at least 11 people with autism (that includes Aspergers). According to epidemiological studies 9 in 1000 children aged eight and under (and I don't think Autism manifests itself after age eight) have autism. So either a). some of you are lying or b). this forum attracts a large number of autistic people. To continue that at the Franklin there were at least two competitors with aspergers or autism to some degree. And to answers 123's question about social life, I have a fairly normal social life. 1560

Congrats on the win, but now its....
Stupid Question Time TM Why is it that every GTM member who has a robot IRL except haz has done extremely well in tourneys? Vertigo's got a crazy number of wins, I've never failed to place in the top three, and Mikes placed highly in many tourneys. |
