Quark looks like a LW HS I made a while ago ( right here). Mine glitched a lot though, limiting its effectiveness. Does yours have the same problem? (Could you also post a pic of it's rear? I think I know how you did it, and a pic would be great conformation if I'm right or wrong.) The other two look epic, especially the S&S.

The HW should be a pure HS (if that's what we're calling them now).
I can make the MW rammer for the tilt challenge.
I can also make the defense box if you need me to.

Pys built something like this a while back I think (it was on the old forums, mabye it was Inf).
It's a pretty good design, but you could free up even more weight by re-making the chassis. Remember: think of each face of the polygon as a seperate armour sheet. The more there are, the more it will weigh, so try to build your chassis with as few faces as possible, but still compact enough to just fit in everything you need.
I would add another air tank (they stack, by the way) and definately some more weapons, if not another piston as well.

Real nice looking HW. It reminds me of Hazard, but has a bit of a stock feel to it too because of the Iron setup.

Thank you Click for ending the uproar.
I didn't have anything against newbies participating in BBEANS, it's just that I didn't think it was fair that the people who have put in so much time and effort to the community wouldn't have the chance to participate in the biggest and most important tourney we have here.
Send in your bots ASAP guys, lets get enough so that we can have a 64-bot bracket with as few byes as possible.

I will probably get attacked for being a newbie in this tournament (which seems to make me this websites most hated at the moment) It's not you I've been talking about. I count six other people that I've never even heard of before. It's them getting in over the vets that bothers me. And also, who ever suggested that vets get top priority in entrants needs to think. That would be me. This would allow for better fights, but think of what might happen in an all vet tournament. You might get the same champ many times in a row, the new players would be denied any chance, and soon would defeat the the reason why to host a tournament. I fail to see your logic behind this point. How does allowing what is probably weaker competition in with just a few powerful bots prevent repeat champions? The desparity in skill between most of the vets is so small that in a tournament situation, it's pretty much negligible. Whereas the disparity between, say Pys and S32 I think we can all agree is huge. If anything, the more even the competition, the less likely a repeat champion will be. And how would the fights be any better? I don't know about you, but I thought that Layziee vs Iron Spaghetti was much better than Haymaker vs NOS-BOT. Why? Because we knew Pys vs SD could go either way. We knew that Haymaker was going to dismantle NB though, so watching was pretty redundant. The point is that even competition makes for better fights.

Why change it now. It has always been this way. And for a newb, they were smart enough to get their entry in before it filled up. ACAMS is 1st in BBEANS rankings. He won't be in the tourney. Naryar is 2nd. He won't get the chance to be the first ever to sucessfully defend his title. Inf is 5th. After back-to-back losses (a 2nd place and a BTRSHDBBDDTBL), he won't get a shot to win it all in the division he is perhaps the best at. Scrap Daddy is 17th. He won't be able to build on his impressive rookie performance. K343, Madiaba (who has contributed so much time to the RA2 community) and SpyGuy also all get snubbed. Here's how I think registration should work in the future: It opens on the 1st of the month, and then closes on the final day of the month. At this time, all entries are taken in. When registration closes, all builders that have participated in at least one tournament before should fill up the bracket. Then, any remaining spots should be given to the builders who sent their entries in the earliest. BBEANS is the largest and most prestigious tournament we have around here. The winners of BBEANS get huge bragging rights, and majorly influence what kind of bots get built at the time. Therefore, the competition should be as high-quality as it can be. Without builders like Inf, SD, Mad, and Naryar (the defending champion), the quality of competition takes a big hit.

EMERGENCY wedges generally aren't that effective, and those snowplows that you're using to trap bots are probably a bit too close together.

Pretty good HS. It could benefit from a tighter chassis and some cleaner stacking though.

I count eight people that are entered that I know nothing about. If there is even one Spinner From the West entry, I'm going to be pissed because vets like Inf and SD that have spent so much time contributing to the RA2 community got snubbed in favour of any noobs that thought that it might be kind of neat to enter their first tourney.
I suggest that priority should be given in future to builders that have participated in at least one tournament before (in other words, keep the entries from the first-timers as reserves, and allow vets to have spot priority over them). BBEANS should be the pinnacle of bot-building supremacy, and the best should be allowed every opportunity to compete.
I can see why Inf, Scrap and SG are mad. CB did say that the deadline was March 31st, so I think that they should have until then to submit bots.

That bot dosen't need a wedge. Get the blade close to the ground, make it stick out front, and add some stabilizers.
