Hey so random question, does anyone else think that Raz from Psychonauts is a Mary Sue? I disliked him as a character, because everything revolved around him, he had no character flaws, and was just so damn good at learning psychinc stuff. I know that it defeats the purpose of the game if he doesn't master every psychic power instantly, but from a narrative perspective look what we've got, he breaks into this top secret training camp full of children hand-picked for their innate psychic abilities who have probably been honing them since birth, and then Mr. "I came here for a lark" is running circles around them all in a matter of days.
/rant. ALso don't give me any crap about how the proper term is "Gary Stu." "Mary Sue" is unisex, not everything in the English language has to be centered around men.
Most video game protagonists are Mary Sues. It's hard not to be, when you're the player character and the game sort of necessarily revolves around you. In Fallout 3, for instance, every problem in the Wasteland is resolved as soon as your character walks on to the scene, same with Skyrim or just about any other RPG. In Halo, Master Chief is the only one who can fight the Covenant for more than 5 minutes without getting slaughtered. There's a few notable exceptions, sure. Kratos has real flaws, and manages to not seem ridiculously powerful in the face of what he's up against, but by and large, video game protagonists are Mary Sues because they're just a self-insert for the player.

Who else here finds it funny? is it just funny to him? I find it hard to believe he'd do this just to make himself laugh I get the feeling he had some buddies in on it.
I find it absolutely hilarious, but I highly doubt he did it for my benefit. I'm not part of that skype group and don't talk to anyone here outside of the forum itself, least of all Newdale.
I didn't find it funny in any way, shape, or form. I checked in on things after company left my house and found GTM in complete disarray. His little "prank" cost me quite a bit of time that I would have preferred to spend on more productive endeavors (real life, bot exchange, mods, etc.). I'm not angry that he did it but I am disappointed; I expected more from him. If he had a problem, he should have stated it outright instead of vandalizing this place for attention.
Of course it wasn't funny for you. You had to clean it up. And, sadly yes, Noodle was, at heart, just a glorified attention seeker.

I'm not going to act like an expert in politics, let alone British 20th century, but when Osama Bin Laden and Kim Jong Il died, it seemed like there was a lot less revelry. It just seems strange, I can't picture myself celebrating when George Bush and Dick Cheney kick it.
Well, when Bin laden died, there was quite a lot, but there were also people who were saying we shouldn't celebrate a man's death, no mater how terrible the man.

Whatever, she was pretty badass, being the most powerful women in the world and all. I'd say she deserves some respect. She was good friends with President Regan too, so as an American, I see that as a positive. Also, why is this not under "Politics"?

BREAK OUT THE CHAMPAGNE, MORTALS!
That's sick.
I wasn't exactly being serious, but dear god, she was one of the least caring people on the planet, so it may well be appropriate.
I can't stand Obama at all but I'm not gonna go around gloating if he kicks the bucket. The fact that you said you weren't even serious just shows how frivolous you think this is. Show some respect.
I'm sorry, but I'm not going to show respect to one of the most despicable people on the planet, dead or alive.
You're a dumbass. Margret Thatcher was probably the best Prime Minister you've ever had besides Churchill. She wasn't a pinko commie like all your leaders these days.
She really didn't achieve much at all. Churchill wasn't great either because as soon as the war was over he spent far too much time dealing with the West Indies. I cannot see how she was a good leader at all.
Besides, we don't even have any actual left wing parties in the UK anymore (besides Green but no-one votes for them), so we really don't have any leaders who come close to being "commies".
She didn't take sh** from anyone, especially not Argentina, and that's what's important in a leader. Also, she was good friends with Ronaldus Maximus. And all your parties are left-wing compared to America, so they're commies.

SO MUCH EMPTY SPaCE
IRL Bots are supposed to have empty space, nary.
Bad building doesn't make a bot IRL.
Here's my IRL Bot.
(Image removed from quote.)
Here is he Insides
(Image removed from quote.)
He have the TWM3 Weapon motors witch I think are more powreful pushing than the drive motor but slower. He is also very strong with the Steel10 armors.
I also installed the NarAI and tested him against A bots.

How about a BOTM where the only restriction is that the bot must use exactly fifteen components. No more, no less.

I just realised that I have the same rep as noodle, who has 5x more rep than Jonzu. Totally not a broken system.
Wait, you're here since 1 year or more and you still believe that rep is an accurate representation of achievements on this forum ?
I don't, I just thought that it was funny.
Noodle may spam annoying flash loops everywhere, but at least he's not a furry or a drama queen. Well, actually he is a drama queen.

Actually, 5 * -10 would be -50. Noodle has 1/5th the rep of Jonzu.

For example, I had one team named predators, with bots like wolverine, Black Leopard, etc.

ARE YOU TREMBLING IN FEAR YET?
Haha, I forgot that thing has a wiki page. Man that was when I first joined the forums as an eager newbie. That bot was the pinnicle of my building prowess at the time. Note that my second BBeans entry was Shebeast...

I used to theme my bot names. Each team would have a different theme, and the bots would be named based on that theme. For example, I had one team named predators, with bots like wolverine, Black Leopard, etc. I also had a team for bots named after metal bands, and another with military-themed names.
