I guess I need a whipping from the oldschool stick... I don't know what that's from. But it looks really cool. How long did that take to make? And did you make all the graphics yourself?I'm taking a class in scientific illustration right now, so I get to do drawings of bugs. Here's one of Pyrophorus texanus, aka a fire beetle (which, fun fact, is a type of click beetle). More to come eventually.

The batteries double as an emergency flamethrower/smokescreen weapon. And the new Apollyon looks good.

Wheels actually have two bodies, the actual wheel and the traction zone, which is usually 2 kgs.
:O New way to cheat the weight limit ingame? Just need to figure out how to do it consistently.

Though I am still really bored a little, I think It's the outdated pack I'm using. is there a pack that's stronger?
Infiniteinertia AI and Pyscolone AI are both very tough. And Ronin looks really cool, I like the way you did the chassis. And 10 razors

Oh boy... This is because I said it would be easier to make a new arena than edit the Robot Wars arena, isn't it? Well making arenas is basically the same as making components. Have a look at the tutorial on my website. http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/modding.htm Once you get a grip on basic gmf editing for components, decompile some of my arenas (NOT any arenas made in 3D Studio Max... those can be quite complicated) and take a look at how they're built. Arenas are, essentially, a bunch of components with 0 mass put together into a solid-seeming construction. A little like building with LEGOs. Making .py's for arenas is more complicated than the gmf work, but if your arena doesn't do anything special, you can just copy the .py from the low lag arena or something and change the name references inside.

It's quite cool.
I have a stock FBH named Downfall though. It was an earlier BOTM entry. The wedges might be bad due in part to the angled-up chassis.

Hmm, 30 kgs left. Upgrading the wheels would be worth it (Technos?), as would using medium beater bars rather than small. You could do both by cutting some battery power (3 oranges is overkill) and then shrinking the chassis.
I like the look of that bot.

Nice. I have a bad feeling it won't drive straight in reverse though.

Nobody has got anything right yet. Maybe I made the picture a little too difficult... Also, I'm starting to think that CC4 won't be as full of flippers and VS's as I thought before, and maybe this bot won't be so good... but meh. It's still my best bet.

OK, so I took a look at the RWarena gmf, and I have new respect for daleksec7 for modding it. It's a mess. Honestly I think it would be easier to make a new arena from scratch rather than edit this.
I may decide to make a new Robot Wars arena for DSL3, but until then I suggest you learn gmf editing...

Back before we discovered Notepad++, me and FB had to do all our BFE in regular Notepad by removing the skin and preview picture (which are the parts that cause the file to become corrupted if you save in Notepad). The bots still work with no skin or preview, it just makes a new one when you go in the bot lab. This glitch is caused by something else, probably to do with the fact that you tried to apply a png.
Best solution is probably to copy/paste the skin from another bot into Not Perfect's bot file. This will ensure you get rid of any bad characters. The skin is easy to find, just look for the word "Chassis" followed by a bunch of numbers, and finally a "true". Right after the true is where the skin starts. Then there's a bunch of compressed jargon, ending with a false. Just copy/paste the stuff between the true and the false. It would probably help to compare the surrounding areas of Not Perfect's bot file with another working bot file to be sure there are no other errors.

On topic..
nothing currently exists for such a thing Urjak, at least not publicly
though it could maybe, be possible with Clicks RPM Monitoring Python
My RPM monitoring AI already does this. If the weapon goes too long without passing the end rotation checkpoint (in other words, it is jammed), it reverses direction.

myself, Madiaba and sage started making a BOTM entry for the last anything goes BOTM that did that such thing
it was going to be an aircraft carrier warship that had SFTW's on board and a cannon that fired them down the run way :P
time wasn't our friend though
HAHAHA that sounds awesome. How far did you end up getting? I'm not sure if a SFTW cannon would work, since it's composed of four separate objects connected by hinges. It might be necessary to merge them into one.

It usually says in the tournament rules how to send entries. Usually, you compress the .bot file in a .zip or .rar and upload it to the GTM file uploader on the main page, then send the download link to the host in a PM. Alternatively, you can upload your bot to the bot exchange and PM the host the link. Also, there is a trollface in your sig.

That is rather epic, however,
All Robots Must Show Controlled Movement.
NO D: Why must Joes rules always ruin my chances in CC!?
Um... in all seriousness, if those bots can't beat an un-weaponed pure flipper in an enclosed arena, you didn't have much chance in CC to begin with. I can 100% guarantee you that Claw Cube 3 would do better. Nice demonstration of what I was trying to do with Flee Beetle though.

See my BOTM bot Ludicrous Speed or the HW version in NAR AI Wars, R17. That's how you throw bots OOTA with... well... ludicrous speed.
I tried making a LW version but it failed because of AGOD. Maybe you'll have better luck. I used NPC fasts with Techno wheels, which seemed to work well.

I plan to enter him into Clash Cubes 4
Can it beat flippers?

Make sure the name of the arena is correct, including spaces and capitalization. I notice you have "series2" in the description but "series 2" with a space for the arena name line.

I wouldn't. 4WD would be overkill on a Trinity bot anyway.
140 cm square extenders would be perfect for this, for saving weight and getting longer reach. But of course I would NEVER condone the use of such parts... only suggest it. :P
