Granted, Geice and NC are right up there with not much in the way of competition, but they seem to be active kinda sparingly now, which is a bit of a shame. You're definitely one of the better newer members, though, you're willing to take on advice with your bots, you've improved your building quite a bit, you've learnt most of the ropes around the place, and I'd say you were an all-around pretty decent member. =)
Thanks, mate =D

But yes, I have noticed that- usually as a result of me dominating the second-round melees, and then getting cherry-tapped from behind by some lucky pretender who doesn't deserve it right at the end of the fight.
I'm sorry, but I dominated that match more than you did. And oh, I WON.
Sportsmanship fail. :gawe:

What happened to IRL tournaments being fun? We can only speculate until the MW videos are up.
I know, right?

I though S_M was quite mild-mannered, as well :/

Fixed the quotes for you   :approve:

From watching the match again, I took on everyone- played a key role in helping you immobilise Gemini, tossed you all over (with you mainly getting hits in from landing on me after being flipped), and this is key, getting Badnik out of the arena.
And even still, that's not good Sportsmanship from you there, either
GF, you are by far my favourite GTM'er

Can I just put a word in here?

Obviously noone likes me here, because I have an odd feeling that noone even regards me opinion.

I wouldn't really say that was true. You might just be going under the radar a little bit. I did that with my bot building a little while back. =) I agree with MNB too, I'd say you were one of the better newcomers that have shown up recently.
Oh don't you get like that too, smashy. I used to think you were one of the cooler newfags.
Geice?
Nightcracker?

Hmm? Someone say something?
If that's what you think, then fine.

Just to jump into this great conversation, but GF.

After my challenge is finished, how about I say my Tree Frog goes against your WarBastard? That would be fun :gawe:

You've got the Mechavore disc, which is pretty good (360, anyone?)
Or War Bastard- that took Third Place in the MW Division last time around   :approve:
I saw yours in BB3 and I was hugely inspired to make Green Tree Frog, thanks mate.

Some may say it's a ripoff 8D

I'm not clever enough to think of those things :gawe:

Also,

On another note, how does my MW look compared to Mike's? I'm really not expecting to get through.

Also, Scourge, why the hell did I get kicked from that skype convo the other day? That made me sad.
There was a horrible screeching noise coming from your end and I couldn't bear it. I did apologise in advance and warn you
I wasn't listening, I thought you were talking to ty4er again.

If I knew, I would have muted my microphone D=

Don't know how the combat side of things is going to go considering my draws, but I think I've done alright in the realism aspect, as have several of the others. I think that's good to see- that crap entries like Garvin's are not going to be tolerated this time around.
No offence, Boss. But why are you still bawwing over Garv?

I wouldn't consider it bawwing, personally, it might be that he takes IRL building quite seriously, but Garvin entered by far and away the least IRL robot ever submitted into an IRL tournament. It was basically a substandard DSL bot, and he got the last spot in the tournament, meaning GF93 couldn't enter with what he'd built. When he saw what it was, he was appaled - as we all were - and a few of us went so far as to call for his robot to be removed from the tournament, and replaced with GF93's. Eventually it went ahead as it was, and Garvin lost in Round 1. I think that's kind of what sparked the recent "restrictions" on IRL building. They're not really proper rules, though.

But he should be able to do pretty well here. I reckon his bots look quite good, especially with the way all the stuff matches up on the heavyweight. Touches like that make a good IRL robot into a great one. =)
However, now people just bend the rules to try and win.
*cough*FOTEPX with metal hinge wedges on he SHW HS*cough*
I'd rather lose in the first round and win a best looking bot award :gawe:

I respect Nary

Knew that was going to be said.

Kill had more respect then Nary though, we respect Nary, but not as much as Kill.
Kill is my friend and rolemodel, Nary is my television
Hell, I've yet to see Nary walk on water 8D

This is a stupid discussion.

Preytor, you don't like it? Be a mod. It's quite likely harder than you think. Just because Nary works on a zero-tolerance basis doesn't mean you have a free ticket to baww.

There, I've said my bit.

I respect Nary

QFT. I may not really like him (much), but it doesn't mean I troll bait him all the time.
