I would add an extender downward from that vertical AP, but it wouldn't give you the same razor setup as before due to the rule of 7.
I guess I understand now. Any other criticism/suggestions/comments etc.?

Looks just like Noodle's bot that he just posted. I'm surprised that it has a good wedge with the Snapper axle so high, and the ram plate attached to the wedge. Usually that's a recipe for disaster.
Well my robot was a pretty generic design.

That looks like quite a good popup. =) Decent protection on the front, too, but some of the more well-built HS's are still gonna eat the edges poking out. I, and Blizzard 2, know this. Only improvement I can think of, try and get the chassis as tight as you can around the components, and try to get Rubbers on there. Gives you better wedges, I believe, provided you know how to build them right.
HS's seem to have their ways with most robots. I could try to tighten the chassis but the insides are pretty packed to begin with. I don't really have much know-how on building wedges right, aside from "put them on burst motors and have the burst motors force them down."

Ok, there was only one tic open for that baseplate anchor so it fit perfectly. I had to extend the wedge in order for it to work with the bulky ramplate in the way. I also moved the DDT's a few ticks back and got those razor spikes on right. It works pretty nicely, it blew its way through EMERGENCY like crap through a goose. I was scoring some 900's.   BTW Sage, thank's for helping me out with this stuff.

Well I moved up the DDT's half a unit and set the razors back further. The ramp was 2 units to begin with, although I'm gonna experiment with making it less steep later. It's definitely improved, I was getting alot better hits when I tested it this time.

How's this? It does significant amounts of damage, but I'm not sure the numbers are in the same ball field as the one you're think about (at least, vs Emergency).

I can understand why someone might be reluctant to rebuild the chassis, as it puts you back to step one of building, which is a rather uncertain position.
If you don't want to loose your current work, just export your robot and then try re-making the cassis.

I'm trying to help him build better robots. Filling my posts with fluff about how wonderfull he is is all good and nice, but it's not gonna help him build a better robot. He is doing one primary thing I like, and that's keeping the chassis simple. Simple chassis are excellent foundations for good robots. Yeah, Disc of Doom. OK.
Well discs are rather inefficient, but if you really must keep the disc at least double up the weapons. No room, the HPZs are too big,
(Still) No room, the batteries are too big.
Re-make your chassis. This time when you do the height, make the chassis six tics higher than the lowest height. This is big enough for both Zteks and black batteries but it still low enough for shiny wheels to reach both the top and bottom.

You should replace disc of doom's disc with a tribar and dual razors/irons. You could also put in 4 HP zteks and there's plenty of room for two black batteries. Also, if you can mount the spinner on a servo or burst motor rather than a baseplate anchor, it will spin much faster.
