Other.py (LittleMetalFriend) is the way to go.
Do you even know what are you talking about ? I don't think so. Lemme check...
*goes to see Other.py*
No you don't. Other.py activates two analog controls when the enemy bot is in a smartzone, and has an additional spin motor support.
*goes to see SpinupOmni.py*
And this one has a function you might be interested in Badnik. It's called getTimeElapsed. The whole py sends a null throttle value to the bot until a certain time is elapsed, and at that time the null value goes away, leaving place to normal driving. I bet you can mod the py a little so it gives negative throttle for a few seconds.
Excuse me, but I used LittleMetalFriend in BB2, and it worked fine.

Why the hll do we need an SFTW award for this?
I mean, combat wise Stagfish's bot was the worst, but when you look at it from an IRL standpoint it was a great bot.
This shouldn't be treated like some damn Starcore level stock tourney, and we shouldn't be condemning people for entering bots that aren't going to go far in IRL tournaments.
If we do that, people will start to push the envelope of IRL, like those cheap Sheck Spinners. That's what pretty much made DSL realistic the way it is.
I can take it out next season, don't pee your knickers in my thread.

(Is it OK if I put that I won BB2 in my sig? Because in PTWR you showed that I could beat Widow 2)
Did you win BB2? No. Splash would be nice...
Yeah, I should put that up... Also, when's BB3 coming out? I'm gonna take NO PRISONERS this time.
Right after I get 10 votes here. But why so anti climatic?
I had thought Badnik's 3-day record was for signups, vids, AND awards, so I was really rushing. :P

I thought you were doing a vote thingy.
This
um... Don't worry, I can make it up to you guys next tournament... PI3 did better than I expected.
Also, while I was testing the bot, it used air for the actuators. May be different for AI?
OH RIGHT I used LittleMetalFriend, which is built for servos. So the game must have mistook your linear actuators for servos. I don't think it affected the outcome of any matches, though.

Beating a classical skirt hinge wedge with a wedge made of small wedge components. So what is new ?
If you've seen the BB2 vids, you'd know.
