Do you have any of the stock teams in IRL form? It'd be cool if you can get like 1 or 2 IRLified stock teams in there
i was actually working on this for a while (back when ppl thought my bots were actually irl and everything i built wasnt "substandard dsl"), i have a few of the bots made and skinned if an idea like this does go through and i could submit them for review
EDIT: i think i have a lw mw hw and 3 other bots made to make a team out of it, i may send it to either replace my current team or as a new team altogether
Suh-weeet I really like this AI pack...

Looks like Mortis, The Judge and Death Warrant all had a baby. Lovin' the paintscheme. I take it you're a Twisted Metal fan :D You should try doing a Sweet Tooth themed bot if you haven't already, maybe even Minion or Darkside :D

I've got a long and lulzy list. I'll start off with the must unsuspecting. Tsurupettan This song was the entrance to my kawaii uguu animu narutard hinata is god stage... or at least part of it. A great asianese children's song about stalking and small boobs. And perverts. Dafuq did I do to myself 3 years ago? Caramelldansen (in just about any form, really) Another kawaii uguu animu narutard hinata is god song thingy. I find myself doing this dance occasionally at marching band events whenever a cadence is done. It's also swedish or something. These three guys made a metal cover of it and it's sexy as . Bad Apple (something from Touhou) You might think this is a kawaii uguu pop-rock animu song about princesses and fairies, right? Wrong. This song is about very powerful little girls killing each other in the name of war and madness, and the lyrics are about both falling asleep and never waking up and/or waking up only to die right after. Yes, it's an upbeat song about depressing ways to die. Ain't that nice? Next on my list, songs that are just truly epic. Aces High - Iron Maiden Probably one of the first Iron Maiden songs I ever heard thanks to Carmageddon 2. Also, probably one of my favorites. I always loved it as a kid even though I never really understood why it's so awesome, but now I do. And yes, the video I've plugged in is a Claymore AMV. Because Claymore is pretty awesome. Tribute - Tenacious D This is not the greatest song in the world. This is just Tribute. Seriously. I didn't know music could come this awesome. Now to songs that simply... scare me. They just scare me. Lavender Town (RIP Kossokei's pokemon blue) I remember the first time going to Lavender Town on Pokemon Blue. It was probably midnight, I couldn't see my clock. I was playing on my GBA, earbuds plugged into it. Lavender sounded like a fun place to go to. And then I had nightmares. Lavender Town Dubstep - Solkrieg (I dubbed the song 'Dear Cubone') Probably the song that introduced me to dubstep. The feeling of this song... It's like being slowly eaten by a behemoth of ghostly proportions... it allows my mind to wander past reality and into my dreams, searching for some sort of meaning in my nightmares. It's also pretty sick. U.N. Owen Was Her? - Flandre Scarlet's game theme All of my fears. Flandre Scarlet. It's a sort of uneasy theme especially when you know who's theme it is.

This forum reminds me of an older forum that I used to dwell around a lot when I was Sylandro's age, and for that, I'm not going anywhere. You guys are so damn unique, I wouldn't be lying if I said that this forum was my entertainment staple Kossokei was a very noobish name back then

I feel bad, if I make an "About Sonny" thread, it's not gonna be as gloomy as everyone else's, and people are going to resent me for it
I've also got a relatively happy life story :P

You called it Dragon's Breath and it has no flamethrowers ???
In hindsight I should've called it Maelstrom or something... This bot is keeping with the Medieval theme that the Taking Siege had, it's part of team called The Legion or something like that. I plan for all of The Legion's bots to be IRL because it'd be cool to be a newbie like me and have a Live Designs AI team...It looks pretty cool but the dual axels will make it havok like , I've tried that system on bots before and they just explode whenever they lose a weapon. The bot on RW was mauler by the sounds of it btw.
I'm pretty sure it was Humdrum :P

An IRL Sheck Spinner? With a mockup chain system using axels? IRL?!?! Meet Dragon Breath So it may not be IRL, but it's sort of testing a concept, you see, there was this one bawt that was featured on Robot Wars that was a Sheck Spinner, like this one. The name? I have no clue, but it had mace balls attached to chains that smacked stuff while the bot was spinning, and that's sort of the concept here. So, that's a ball mace on 2 180 degree axels, the second one being placed perpendicular to the first, all of which placed on a 360 degree axel. To get them to look like that I had to spin the shell a little bit so you could see the chain in its full glory. It's really pretty in action, I won't lie. It's also ineffective as , like IRL Because of the shell, that's as much of the inside that I can manage to show without ripping apart the entire shell and having to rebuild it. The whyachi motor is fully powered, because that's a rule of IRL or something like that, and those are slimbody motors. It's not as slow as you think but it doesn't move much so it doesn't really matter. Here's some more of the outside, closer to the chain. The 360 swivels, The first 180 can go up, down, left and right, just not behind itself/through itself. Whatever angle the first 180 can go, the second 180 can only go 90 degrees in one direction or 90 degrees in the other, and will always be perpendicular to the first, so it can't go through itself. And since the bot will be on the ground (derp?) the weapon won't and shouldn't collide with the first 180 degree axel. It's very simple but the explanation is a little complicated. The only problem with this being IRL is because it's a shell spinner and therefor hard as to penetrate with another IRL bot, and can be just a tad more effective than the other IRL bots out there. And, because of the axels and the speed at which the shell is spinning, the axels like to flex out according to the weight of the ball maces. So like I said, it may not be IRL, but it's an interesting concept that I wanted to play with for a little and I made this thing. That being said, the weapons aside from the protective razors on top and the hypnodisk teeth bordering the disk like a bawss, this bot really sucks at doing damage. It just looks cool. Seriously.

For me, in the most non-scientific way I can explain it, I usually get Night Terrors when my dreams are too skewed from reality (Because dreams are something like your Memories + Your Imagination + Reality) to an extent where I can't control it at all, and therefor are usually forced to play along. Usually when I have those types of dreams, they're very horror filled, gorey, creepy and so on.

How has anyone not only one person mentioned the shining king of destruction racers, Carmageddon?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKwMBxiKTo4&feature=plcp#
Because, Carmageddon is too awesome to be mentioned by mere mortals, fortunatly JD is immortal enough to mention it.

So back when I was testing YU812's AI for Strict Battlebots, this happened (I was driving Snowflake) : (Image removed from quote.) After ripping off the outer pieces of plow, YU812's hammer actually got stuck inside the middle one. Has something this happened to anyone else before?
This is more realistic than not XD

We need more KOTH and tabletop maps.
I just came up with a KOTH map idea, it'd be sort of like the Flextop sumo map, but instead the circle part doesn't... you know... bounce back and forth like a bull on cocaine, and instead spins around a middle section; the capture point. The spinning wouldn't be super duper speed-of-5-stacked-Dual-Perms fast, but it would be enough to make getting on the hill a little tricky. The hill would also be higher than the rest of the map and a little sloped on all sides, keeping the middle mostly flat, like all of the other KOTH maps. The spinning would be the hazard, and when you turn the hazards off, it's just a basic radial KOTH map.

It feels so nice to see Scrapyard Behemoth get degraded and humiliated by something bigger and meaner.
I love the way it caught SB's hammer in the first fight... I think I'm in love...

I personally think that all of JP's commentary during the whole Razer bootybanging Matilda thing was like, his commentary at it's best.
