You can only have one bot, but can enter it into whatever weight class you choose.

Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 3: Reloaded« on: August 18, 2011, 05:18:21 PM »Cool idea running all 4 weightclasses. Can I please enter this time? I'll be impartial to judging my own fights. Or you could find someone else to "Guest Judge" my fights. (that's what's done IRL if one of re judges has a team affiliation) I actually like this idea, and I think I know a certain person whose name rhymes with Mertigo who would like to get a shot at judging. ![]() you cant run major league tournaments yet? -Tournament Name Withheld- didn't count. 1504
Tournament Archives / Battlebots 3: Reloaded« on: August 18, 2011, 05:03:23 PM »![]() It's back, and better than ever! How about we try something different? RULES - DSL LW/MW/HW/SHW - BattleBox 2.0 arena, heckraisers off. - 3 minute matches - Realistic Rule applies very strongly, IT MUST BE FOLLOWED (Garvin). - No NARmour - 1 Havok restart, 2nd time eliminated - No cheatbot2 - No BFE, AAM, Trov Glitch, NCR glitch, or any glitch that makes the bot unrealistic - Replicas are NOT allowed - Cannot use DSA (why would you?) - Robots must look as close to IRL designs as possible. (No unrealistic weapon sizes, disproportionate designs.) - No face spinners - Moving weapons may not touch the ground initially. It is OK if a robot is flipped over but not if weapons hit the ground when the match starts. - Bots with treads get a 60 kg weight cushion. - MUST have a sponsor decal (https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/Misc/AU_Decal_Pack_1.0.zip) (https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/Misc/JX_Sponsor_Decals.zip) - LW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 425 kgs, but at least 175 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself. - MW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 800 kgs, but at least 400 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself. - HW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 1200 kgs, but at least 400 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself. - SHW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 1600 kgs, but at least 400 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself. JUDGING - Fights will be judged on significant attacks and control of match. - Fights will be judged on a spectrum of 45 points. - Fights will be judged by me, G.K., and SKBT. PRIZES Division Champion- A guaranteed spot in my next tournament Here's the catch: There will be 32 entries. You can only enter 1 bot, but into whatever weight class you want, unless that weight class is full. 8 people can enter LW, 8 MW, 8 HW, and 8 SHW. Each group will battle for division champion. Yes, this means there will be 4 champions, which also means I can't give 2nd place a prize. Sorry. Division champions will get a reserved spot in my next tournament, because it would get old if everyone starts getting component prizes. 1505
