There is no more need to report more spam by noodle, nor to send more messages to trovaner because of spam. So don't do it.
I have partly solved the problem, I just wait for trov to permaban.
Thank you.
Surely an IP ban is necessary? Last time we banned him he just made a bunch of extra accounts to keep spamming.
NotNoodle Enough said.

MS-DOS master race.
But seriously. Window 7 is the only OS for gamers ATM, with DX11 not supporting XP.

can you trace to where the browser extension is in your directory and nuke it from there?
I had already found it, but it wouldn't let me do it from there. I simply uninstalled the extension and now all is fine.

Wedges (BAWWW INEFFECTIVE WEDGES BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY INEFFICIENCY MUST MEAN IRL - IRL haters) are ghey but it's solid.
So does this mean Hazard was ghey then????????????????
This. In my opinion, They're not ghey as long as it doesn't depend on the wedge. I've never seen a bar spinner that did.

I fail to see why "resorting to DSL only" is a bad thing. Some people just prefer DSL because it's much less complex and time consuming.
And I know Inf's gonna try to argue that stacking and snapper/axle loading aren't time consuming and to that, I just have to say that we aren't all as talented as Inf and most probably never will be. He's considered an RA2 God for a reason...
Oh and to Maz... I feel you may have been mislead by what you saw when you were just lurking. You most likely saw the majority building IRL DSL and that may have caused the confusion. There are three very different main types of building...
You have stock, which is completely unrealistic. There may be one or two IRL stock builders, but it's not widely accepted.
You have standard DSL, which the bot is made to be as deadly as possible without using the game glitches to build your robot. Standard DSL seems to be a lost art.
And lastly, you have IRL DSL, which you build robots to be as realistic as possible. This has been the most active type of building as of late and that is what you have excelled at most.

Drop Robot Designs folder and Teams folders on desktop and install a clean copy. Then just transfer your bots. Should fix it.

Found the issue. It was an actual extension in that had been installed on Chrome. Adblock and Flashblocker will not override other extensions.

It seems to have the same effects as a virus/trojan I had on my old laptop, which I got rid of using Combofix (per TRB's recommendation here).
I tried Combofix, but it says that I have to shut off my antivirus and I'd rather not do that when there is already something in my PC.

I have Adblock+...
What don't you people understand about the fact that it's not a browser issue? Adware effects the PC and doesn't have anything to do with the browser.

I've been using a Firefox add-on called flashblock for several years now. It works so well that I never realized I had ads like those, until recently disabling the flashblock to run a browser game.
It disables all flash in a page. To enable you just need to click on the screen
I use that in Chrome. It is a good tool. The problem is that these ads don't appear to be flash and it's actually some nuisance program on my PC. I found my installer for Spybot Search & Destroy and it seems to have detected the issue and will have it taken care of shortly.

Malwarebytes
I have it already. Didn't work. Microsoft Security Essentials
lolno I had to uninstall/remove a Panda URL filter thing in the 'Add or Remove Programs' program for something similar.
I did that for something called Browse to Save and it didn't do anything.

I do use adware and spyware protection, but I guess it wasn't up to date and this slipped through. Edit: Oh, the irony.

His is number 3. Has to be. He's about the only other person on here that knows who Jethro Tull is.
*ahem*? I'm sorry but if you don't know who/what Jethro Tull is without consulting the internet, then your head has been somewhere where there aint no sun
You have to remember that most of the people here are kids. Are you trying to say it's yours?

I am in need of an adware removal program and since I have never had to deal with adware, I need to know what's good. Edit: Here is what I am dealing with.

123 proved that skirt hinge wedges can be just as good when positioned properly.
As far as the battery consumption of the different bursts, you're probably right.

So, the reason that you can't get under other bots is because a wedged chassis does nothing for getting under other bots. Instead, we use metal hinge wedges, you an see what I mean by looking at someone else's DSL showcase, I reccomend Naryar's.
As for the flipping power, what you need depends on the weight class. A beta burst or two should very easily cover a HW flipper. Also, make sure you have enough batteries to power the burst motor (Only pistons run off of CO2.), it's 21 ant batteries for 1 beta burst IIRC.
If you need any further help, either with the game or with starting a showcase, feel free to send me a PM or post a reply. Oh, and welcome to Gametechmods!
TRB has some things right, here, but not all entirely accurate. Metal hinges aren't the only thing you can make a good wedge with. You can also make them with skirt hinge when done right. There's a thread about that somewhere. I'm on my phone right now and can't copy/paste, but maybe someone else can link you to it. As far as the burst motors, the beta burst is good, but you can still use more than one of the smaller burst motors to get a good amount of flipping power. You also need to make sure you have enough battery power. It has been proven that you only need one ant battery per spin motor. Spin motor meaning drive motor or spinning weapon motor. Burst motors are a different animal entirely. I believe you need at least three (maybe more) ant batteries per burst motor. You could also use the one of the Battlepack batteries, I believe. Welcome to the forums, and I hope I've been helpful.
