Welcome to Stock, where balance doesn't exist and physics are optional!
Rule 1 of Stock: never change your bot's armor. If you never click on the armor tab at all, you get Double-Strength Aluminum (commonly called DSA), which is just what the name implies. It's stronger and lighter than Steel armor, so there's no reason not to use it. Rule 2 of Stock: the only wheels worth using are shiny hubs (they're by far the lightest) and occasionally rubber wheels (they're slightly smaller, so they help bots that need incredibly small ground clearance). If you make your chassis five "clicks" high (from the page where you decide your chassis height, put the slider all the way at the bottom, then slowly move it up until you've seen it click 5 times), you can use HP-Ztek motors for drive and be invertible with shiny hub wheels. Rule 3 of Stock: the only weapons worth using are razors, iron spikes, maces, and sometimes bear claws. Everything else is worthless.
You also need to build to the weight limit. By the way, the default Stock AI is terrible, so grab an AI pack if you want your testing to mean anything. Good luck!
If someone else who is better than me disagrees with one of these points, though, probably go with whatever they say.

One day less than one month left for signups! So, you know, take your time.

Thracker throwing in a bot that we already knew he built?
What? How did you know?

surely it is largely irrelevant from the point of view of an onlooker whether a lady is into Necrophilia as to act on it she'd have to be dead?
I thought the implication was that Meeko's "friend" was in fact some sort of undead abomination, and was looking for a lady-partner.

Dangit, I tested El Pardack against ReStocked, and the only thing it couldn't beat were those U-shaped popup types. Ah well, makes up for Shadow of RED v Industrial Coal Miner, I suppose. GG Mystic, thanks for the match. Thanks for hosting again, RedAce.

I'm still not entirely too sure of the purpose or correct usage of Beater Bars if I'm going to be honest, would anyone be willing to link me to some IRL or DSL bots that make good use of them so I can learn from the masters?
Here's Dirty Dan. I made it, so it's not great, but it did win a tournament. It's a DSL-Standard MW poker that uses beater bars. What's cool about beater bars is that you can connect them end-to-end like extenders. I'm sure there are better examples out there, though. Also, if you have two posts to make in quick succession, you can just edit the first post instead of making two posts.

#4: The ride never ends. And I can't believe Thracker was actually serious.
My plan was that, if I came up with a good idea, I'd enter that. Unfortunately, I didn't come up with anything, so it was Mr. Bones or nothing. The ride never ends.
Add a santa hat and enter it next month too.
Good idea.

Cool bot, it has personality.
If you could find a way to shuffle the internals to allow for invertability (hypno wheels allow invertability on minimum-height bots) that'd be good.
I donno how good fists are as weapons, but it might be too tall for invertability. You might want to consider swapping to several beater bars or something, though admittedly that would have far less pizzazz. That said, I haven't played DSL for over 6 months, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.
Cool avatar also.

Looking at my bots... you can tell I made some of these a long time ago. I had forgotten about that old version of Mace Swinger.
My money's on RammingSpeed to win it.
Bonesaw (MW) appears to not be in the bracket.
