What if I was to say that its a complete control style clamping lifter?
(Image removed from quote.) The smaller "phoenix arm" is the top clamp arm of the claw. (Image removed from quote.) The ram is for the main "lifter" and the dewalts are for the drive. If I finish it for moto it will replace Shish-Kabot in my lineup. 1488

Enigma, I'm going to put this bluntly as possible. You suck at IRL style building.
Poke around on buildersdb.com and watch some YouTube videos of modern combat robots to get an idea of what is possible IRL and what isn't. Your bot lacks any weapon support, has that funky outrigger support system and a too complicated skin. To make your bot look better, think triangles for supports, double layer it like last rites so you don't need that dumb out rigger system and put some effort into making it look better. Also ask yourself "would this really work?" when you are building. 1490

Decompile the CFZ
Find the TXT file for the part Change always hidden from a 2 to something else. (0 or 1 I forget) It should show up then. 1492

Hmmm looks like everyone else entered a VS too.

I did a "gyrobot" a while ago. It's the only "walker" mechanism I've ever come up with that actually has controlled movement.

DSL TC Showcases / Re: SKBT's showcase« on: November 29, 2011, 08:01:44 PM »Doesn't look too bad. Armour and internals? There isn't much to see inside. Its got plastic 3, 3 ants, and the 5kg control board. It weighs 398.7kg. I used the drum maker instead of a hexplate because it brought the hammers lower to the ground than the hexplate did. 1500
DSL TC Showcases / Re: powerraves DSL briefcase« on: November 29, 2011, 06:45:42 PM »The skin is awesome. Same weapon setup as Drumbledore I see. Not quite. I only had one piglet with the weapons facing out from the inside giving it a egg beater like weapon. Now I want to know how PR got the same drive, two more beater bars and another piglet on his drum bot and still stayed in the weight limit. |
