iirc Ronin and Wipeout are different bots and Wipeout had great wedges while Ronin's blew hard.
and honestly I really dont think what motor the wedge is on really matters as much as weight distro and wedge angle. Alot is my old castor popups with blue wedges own my newer bots that use ddts and my best wedges have all been vertical green snappers. not to mention NWB is still extremely annoying. Another thing I have noticed is that bots with static setups(aka not built off of snappers) almost always have better wedges.

workin like a dog but i had time to build this today.  Unrelenting Force (V3) - With 6 NPC drive Unrelenting Force is able to push most things around the arena with ease. Flippers are useless due to the axle wedges that just flip over when turned over.

one small tip is to segment extenders when you can. 2 20cm extenders have twice as much total HP as a 40 cm since all the extenders have the same HP.

this game where you had to get these little men across a bunch of mazes. It was on an old like 1998 gateway computer and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called or remember any specifics about it so no one eve knows what I'm talking about. all I remember is this one fire level

I picked US flippers because they are more powerful and are cooler looking.
Maybe, but it's how you implement it that matters- an expert driver with a basic robot is more likely to win than a novice with the latest technological marvel.
you seem to think that just because every bot in the uk is a flipper that every driver there is miraculously better than the USA. There are different drivers everywhere and saying that one country has better drivers than the other is just plain stupid.
