You need to keep in mind that back then: 1. Most people where noobs. 2. There were SOME good builders. 3. A lot of people didn't even know about the forums. 4. There were very few AI tournaments. 5. Most of those bots came from the botexchange and were probably never showcased.

Hopefully BBEANS 7(?) will be AW's, we need more of them as starcore, mini's, the 2 in PYS and the few others in the 200 teams AI pack aren't enough because I want to do an AI pack battle between antweights.
If I can build some different AW's then I'm sure the better builders such as yourself could come up with something different and more effective.

I still expected them to do better, but it's probably just due to the draw the PYS bots got. The semi's will be up a little later on.

Pretty strange that none of the PYS bots made it past the first round considering the pack had 15 chances to get a bot through to round 2 :/ perhaps just the (bad) luck of the draw in which I just picked the first 15 LW's from each pack. Maybe me need to nominate the 15 best robots from starcore, PYS and INF and run this tournament again sometime.

What Scrap said though, there's quite a bit of unnecessary extender work.

What Scrap and I meant is that you can find better setups that use less extenders, and consequently save weight, for both of these bots.
I know, I just don't see how :/ the extenders on the VS are needed for stability and the HS hardly uses any :/ (the iron spikes are out the front for stability and extra damage + protection. I haven't built LW's in ages so I'm a bit rusty.

Just about to start a display tournament between the 4 toughest AI packs, each battle will be a battle royal with 1 bot from each pack. I will go from the top of each list to the bottom until one pack runs out of bots. Starting with lightweights.
