Well, it's a 117 and a 278 close together. I've never even had a 10k+ hit.

Also, other stuff!

The HW VS I've been working on:

I gave it longer and wider wedges, fixed the AGOD wheel, and cleaned up some of the extender work. Next, I'll fix the irons so they make contact at the same time.

And an actually well thought out FS, after the Parasite failed (well, by my standards anyways):

Enjoy (:

As promised, some battleshots, mainly testing the wedges:

just one thing .... on a forum like this wouldn't skillful building be the thing that makes you popular ? I mean a completely useless builder wouldn't be the most popular person so in theory popularity wouldn't be much of a problem

That is the single most logical statement posted in this thread. I'm not kidding.

I remember CB or Rojo or someone way back on the old forums (Firebeetle even) said something to the effect of components added after the wheels are added don't affect weight distribution. I'm not sure if this is true or not. Also, the ice pick isn't attached to the wedge and the irons stick out far enough that it dosen't hinder the wedge. I'll get some battleshots and mabye some other stuff up later.

S32: Popularity contest? What does that mean, that Inf, Sage and Pys are in everyone's top-5? They're "popular" because they're better than you, me, and close to everyone else in this forum.

Also, Venko and Trovaner would make my top-10.

I think a panel of judges is dumb.

It eats single wedges for breakfast.

I think it's a decent idea. I like the idea for seeing where the rest of the community ranks people, because I have a pretty good idea of my top 10 in each category.

You're top-10. Not close to top-3 though.

ANYWAYS, lets get back on topic.

Does it use flipper.py? I found that worked the best, as it didn't go charging off the table top as much.

Hey Gig, did I send you an AI line for Arcarsenal by any chance along with the bot?

Why not just say what kind of bot you have, should there honestly be a community guideline to follow... I think it's ridiculous, although a term like "pure HS" makes some people egotistical, I.E "Oh well I've built 4 PURE HS, that's right." I think the standard should be the following: (number of weapons)(type)(weapon), Examples: 16HSM, 36HSM, 36HSI, 36VSI, etc... it makes sense, it's not boasting, it's short and simple...

Of course, because teaching all the noobs what VS, HS, FS, TS, AGOD, eFFeing, stacking, DSA, DSL, etc. are isn't nearly enough already.

Also, I really don't understand how using "pure HS" makes people egotistical...

Why are the Table Top bots in the KOTH brackets?

I noticed that the attachment point for the NPC left motor is different from the attachment point for the NPC right motor. If I'm not the only one with this problem, will it be fixed in DSL 3.0?

Wait, I'm a bit confused about the format. Now do we build new bots for the 2nd round, or do we complete this bracket and have a MW FS champ, then another bracket with a MW VS champ?

The Parasite was designed to be a wedge breaker more than anything, but I admit, it was not the bot I should have sent. It, as Inf said, has serious design flaws that I should have picked up on much earlier.

I will not win this round, but next time I can guarantee that my entry will be top-3 calibre.
