They're robots alright. Badnik sent something like your 2 iron wammer, but with no weapons and HPZ drive. It would be interesting to see them fight. (and by interesting I mean it would be a 2 minute shovefest )

I'm literally accepting any legal stock LWs, even the oldest bots you have. You could build SFTW mk. 2 and it would still get in. Nobody seems to be able to nab 18 random bots from their robot design folder and send it...

Please look at more tournaments and observe what they do before trying to start your own tournament. Half of the rules for most tournies are just ripped straight from BBEANS.
