For RCs Revenge, I think it is very well built. However, I do not think having a wedge like that benefits these type of robots. I could easily be wrong, but will see....

I have heard many people on this forum are calling DSL flails cheap.
Regardless of whether they are right or wrong, I am asking why people think this?
Any opinions would be appreciated.

Well, as long as other people are using it, there are no reason for me not to. I am simply advocating a ban for things like tournament and such, because it give an unfair advantage to those that uses it. ^ Exactly what I was trying to say. I agree with 123STW on that. ^

Too bad I don't know how to BFE Its comments like these that makes me more and more think that BFE should be illegal. It should especially be illegal to shrink the chassis height below what is achievable in the botlab. This gives people who know BFE a distinct advantage. I belive that BFE should be openly taught to everyone on the forums, or it should be considered unrealistic as far as DSL goes at least.

Oh and definitely DSL LW... if HW 75% of the field is going to spam gut rippers and shell spinners. Yup... But I can say that should it be DSL HW, I would not build a shell spinner!

I suggest looking through other DSL showcases like Naryar's, Reier's, and Pwnator's in particular for more ideas and ways to improve your bots. And not Urjak's!? Anyways, R0B0 is right. The best way to learn how to make good robots in DSL is to check other people's showcases, and maybe try to copy their designs. This is a good way to get used to DSL, and then you can begin making your own, original robots.

Are you using custom motors for the drive and disk? If so, do not use custom components anymore. They are considered cheating and people do not generally like them.

Vertical Impulse: And i was expecting a shell spinner... It might be built by an elite DSL builder, but it barely deals any damage and entering a flipper in a tournament is just too much of a risk for me. We'll see.
Yup... I really didn't want to enter another shell spinner, and I had just recently built Vertical Impulse so I thought, why not? I am not expecting to win this tournament, but I should have some exciting fights. As for all the other robots, the shell spinners worry me the most. I should have a chance at putting the VSs OOTA so I might be able to win round one.

Paranormal Activity is not a violent movie really... its designed to scare you, but it scares you in a way violence can't.

2. No glitches, BFE, AAM, GMF swapping etc (UNLESS for realistic purposes).
This is an incredibly easy rule to exploit. I could add an extra attachment point to something, but then justify it becuase you could attach it that way in real life.
