Yeah, I'm sorry for starting crap in your showcase. That was completely my fault, not yours.

As for your bot, it's much better. You can probably use rubber wheels on it if you can make the chassis small enough. As a guide, to fit most things in, like a control board on top of a black battery, move the chassis height slider up 3 notches (basically, 3 pixels). To fit a bot with a nifty in: 4 notches. To fit HPZ drive in: 5 notches. JB, Redline and Pwn basically touched on everything else.

I think that it's the BBEANS 1 arena. The Beetle Bros site would have it for download if anywhere did.

Just some stuff I've been fiddling around with lately:

A cool-looking but only decent AW S&S. I thought I'd make a whole S&S team, and I have a BW and LW too. The LW is sweet. Mabye I'll post it later...

A LW rammer. Those are the 60 kg hammers.

A suprisingly effective LW Nightmare-style VS. I'm pretty pleased with this prototype, but I'll have to get around to making some tweaks.

A fail bot spawned from an idea I had. The concept I think still has some promise, but the bot downright sucked:

My new favourite bot ever. It's durable, fast, wedgy, destructive, unstable, and looks really cool IMO. It's quite fun to battle with:

And that's pretty much it for now. I've mostly been playing stock lately, so I'm kinda behind on building for Clash Cubes, especially since the bot that had the most promise by far (it kinda resembled Naryar's newest SHW) decided to go AWOL on me and eat a whole teams file O:<

The blade would divide the whole chassis in half, making the bot fall apart, therefore it's unrealistic.

Wow, two vets back on the same weekend. That's like a new record or something.

Anyways, it's always kinda neat when someone from waaaaay back (like, what, 5 years max?) pops back up. We hear about AceUplink and RFSHQ, but very few of us were actually around to see them. From my understanding, it was like one constant flame war (worse than when Venko joined GTM's O: ...). Nowadays, the community is too small to support two communities at e-war.

But welcome back, enjoy your stay, etc, etc. Just please try and stick around longer than some other returnees ;)

Can you say "unrealistic"?

Very nice SHW. Kinda creepy considering I was working on something similar not too long ago.

All of the parts that I have used on TORNADO (my entry) are un-skinned, it was built entirely in the bot lab, and it uses no custom components, smartzones, AI, etc. It is an 18-mace dual HPZ spinner that can be seen here and uses Omni.py as an AI line. I sent it to Inf for his AI pack and as far as I know, he's had no problems with it. I've also used it in numerous online matches without any crashes, and it works AI'ed and not in numerous versions of my games, all of which are un-modded, with the exeption of skinned snowplows, E-wedges, and small wedges on the version of RA2 I didn't build TORNADO on.

I've triple-checked it. There is nothing wrong with the bot I sent you.

It looks like it would be underweight...

Is it my bot you're having trouble with? I checked the AI line myself, and imported it into 3 different games and they worked every single time. I don't know how you could even have trouble with it.

Reier, I now hate you slightly for getting that damn song stuck in my head again...

It looks cool, but you could really clean up your extender work and use the weight for better drive.

Sure, please post it. What did you do, make the chassis even smaller or use a different extender setup or something else?

SOOOO CLOSE

It was going to be my re-build of Ninja for Inf's pack, but I'm about 2 kgs off...

It has DSA, but I don't really want to shed the weight by going to plastic.

I think that

Flying_Chao

SSG

Kill343gs

or

Urjak

would make good mods.

I officially reccomend Kill, SSG, and Flying_Chao.

Inf, Naryar, and pys could not, and i repeat not be mods, because they would ban people. If your a mod, you can't hold grudges.

I would like to be a mod, but I am not sure I have been here long enough.

I disagree. I don't think that Urjak or F_C would make good mods. They lack experience. The same sort of goes for Naryar, but he's a bit of a different case. Kill and SSG have both been around since BBEANS 3 and were active on the old forums ('06-ish. I've been around since '05).

Also, I think Inf would make a much better mod than many of you think. He's been around long enough to know what warrants a ban and what dosen't, and I don't think he's a cruel tyrant like a lot of you make him out to be.

Go to page 5 of my showcase. It's the same as it was there.

I might try building Dementia for Inf's pack later today if I get any time, but I doubt I will.

No, it's just that for some reason, if you make your chassis too short, the plate won't fit. The solution to this: make a taller chassis.

I think Sage would be a good choice.

And thank you for nominating me S32 and Naryar :)
