The thread has been dead forever and could provide no further advancements to the community. Lock the thread and move on. Simple as that. Nobody gets the chance to jump in, and nobody ends up buttfrustrated.
For someone who claims to be a god, you have a lot to learn... If you had just locked this after the first bump and explained to the person of suspect the error of their ways, none of this would have happened.

Yesterday I got to hear my baby's heartbeat. :D
The names we have picked out are Annabelle Lynn Baker for a girl, and Elijah Craig Baker for a boy.
Of course, Baker is a must, being my last name. I personally am hoping for a girl, but I'll be happy either way.

Gee, so now my basic wizforum memories are suddenly blasts from the past I guess.
Keep in mind how new some of these people are compared to us. This is honestly my favorite thread. I wish we had the Wiki back in the day so all this information could have been recorded in real time instead of just in the few of us's memories.

You need to make them more instantly recognizable; unless you tell people that these are things from portal nobody will ever be able to know what they are. Even if they know what portal is, a 2x2 brick is still just a 2x2 brick.

So here's my concept for an all-encompasing pokemon game.
You start out as a resident of Violet City in Johto. Your father and Prof. Elm grew up together. One day Elm calls you rfather and tells him that he wants you to come visit him at his lab as soon as possible. Your father reluctantly decides to let you go because you are becoming more responsible with age. He has you take his pokemon for the trip, just to keep you safe. (Lv. 10 Eevee). I chose eevee for this because it ends up being your starter, and after talking to your dad again later on he tells you that he has saved up enough to obtain one evolution stone for your birthday present. This is to replace the element of choice given at the start of the other games. If you choose to decline, it will become an Umbreon or Espeon later on.
OK, this is taking too long. Brief summary from here:
When you get there, you start your journey basically. You go through Johto and then Kanto, Similar to Gen2 but with a different storyline. Once you finish Kanto, You hear about a cruise that is going around through all the regions. (SS Anne) In order to prevent issues that have happened in the past, you are only allowed access to one of your pokemon (Starter) while on the ship. The rest given back to you once you get off. The ship lands in Hoenn, you battle through hoenn. You get back on the ship, they take your pokemon. When you go to get off the ship in Sinnoh, your Pokemon and those of the rest of the passengers are nowhere to be found. As it turns out, Team Rocket captured all of them in transit. Left with just your starter, you basically have to start over for Sinnoh and Unova, battling Team Rocket as well as the usual challenges along the way. it all leads up to a climactic battle where you stop team rocket once and for all.
edit: One of my other ideas is that you lose your starter too. The fact that it belonged to your dad originally gives it a deeper emotional impact.

I just got back from my new job at a local restaurant as a dishwasher and kitchen staff.
Things I've learned:
1. Industrial strength brillo pads hurt after about an hour of use
2. Dishes are really hot when they come out of the Industrial Dishwasher
3. Robogladiators was way more fun than this job is.
