Pwning in TAN debates with my percentages post.
You'll never convert me, though! Never!
Funny story... I amost made a mini TAN. I went as far as having the claws CNC'd but then I realized how dumb of an idea it was to have a bot designed to pit other bots in an arena without a pit.

Because 1/2 of the drive died?
My theory for the screwing over of StormII is based on the fact that StormII was part of a new generation of newer bots that challenged (and defeted) the "invincible" veteran "legends" of RW. It showed the weakness of famous bots and that there were machines much better than they were. To see what I mean watch pretty much any S7 RW battle (except one with stormII), a battle with StormII, and a US HW fight from 2003-2005 with the sound off and without a bias.
Which was more entertaining? It should be fairly close between the US battle and StormII. Why? Because machines like StormII and many US bots were less homebrew and more engineered than most RW bots were at the time. Going back to my theory... RW didnt want StormII because it pushed robot design into a whole new league (like what happened in the US) and made most homebrew bots completely noncompetitive. Just to tack onto my statement StormII also challenged the "invincibility" of the house bots, which is another thing the RW production crew didnt want.
I find it funny how about 90% of the bots mentioned in this thread haven't fought in years and or only fought a couple of matches, and there are still heated debates over them.

Blunt Trama looks awesome with the sponsor decals. (now if only companies were still willing to sponsor robots IRL) How did you do the intersecting extenders for the weapon support?

Probably convincing ACAMS that a "Roboteer" user group was a good idea.

DoorStop... stupidest robot I've built... good waste of $600... the weight distribution is way off and causes it to be unable to drive straight consistently.

Looks like a Craaig bot.
My favorite hammer setup right now is 4 30kg sledges on a drum component. Maybe you could try that too.

I bet you could shave enough weight to get a perm 132 on that if you played around with the extender work a bit.

A question to any dog owners...
If you put up a real Christmas Tree, does your dog pee on it?

No you don't. You plug one ESC into aileron and the other into elevator and enable V-tail mixing on the remote.
