Back on topic: In any situations involving only 2 people and something happens, you can assume at least one person must have done it. I don't know what makes this so different. So the possibilities are 1. You alone moved it and are lying 2. Your friend alone moved it and is lying 3. Both of you moved it, resulting in a direction that neither of you can predict.

All 3 of the categories are still trying to win, it's just the method that differs. And really, the only reason I am Timmy is because this is a Timmy oriented game. You can only squeeze so much out of efficiency or creativity, while weapon KG is king. In everything else, I am a Johnny/Spike who plays containment/control with web of combos. Even in pokemon card I play stall decks. IRL builders are not trying to win at all, it is primary aesthetic. So those 3 categories make no sense.

Meaning a super complex low armor chassis will have the same HP as a simple high armor chassis given they
1. Weight the same
2. Using armor with the same efficiency.
So a complex titanium 1 armor chassis at 20kg has the same HP as a simple titanium 5 armor chassis at 20kg.

No it doesn't make a difference because you can get that weight back by lowering your armor class, and have the same KG and HP as your simplified higher armor counterpart.
The real reason chassis shape matters in a HW is the likelihood of it getting hit.

they knew that America was where the money's at, so they had to dumb down the plots a bit. Sorry, most of their non translated shows are just as retarded (example: Harems). So this doesn't hold.
Harem aren't supposed to be very intelligent plots... they're just supposed to be fun. I enjoyed watching Love Hina, as an example, because of the slapstick mostly.
That's the point. It's silly to expect Naruto or Bleach to have very intelligent plot. Shonen authors are working on time constrain to target hyperactive kids. Whatever dumbing down that results has nothing to do with "Americans". Though I personally don't like neither shonen nor heram.

As for the skies, yeah they aren't very useful. You gain more protection by investing 5kg on another skirt hinge, and widen the second wedge by removing the overlapping.
Then again, it's doesn't matter that much if it can get under flail SnS consistently.

Total HP of a chassis is weight * efficiency.
So for a Heavy Weight, the complexity of the chassis shape really doesn't matter. If you want a lighter chassis, just lower the armor.
It only start to matter for lightweight and below since you can't lower the armor any further.
