Looks like I'm the biggest lose/fag/n00b/idiot to ever sign up for gametechmods. Even with extremely simple instructions and 3 and a half hours of frustrating work, still can;t get NAR AI 2.3 and 2.4 patch working. Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggghhhhh
That's ok dude. It took me a few tries to get patches to work as well. I screwed up DSL plenty of times. :D

Since it has been pointed out it is underweight. You should double up the Irons on that front disk. That will fill up the weight limit quite nicely.

Hahah. You are all so critical. XD
I am going to point out some of the things you are doing right.
-It looks like you are making an effort to keep the chassis small-ish. Keep it up, try to seal things up in there to avoid wasted space as much as possible. The less weight you use on your chassis, the more you have available for weapons.
-You are focusing on using Shiny Wheels. Good job. Those are very efficient for smaller bots.
-You are using an HPZ tek which is a powerful motor choice to work with.
-Wedge is cool... stick it out further so that it wedges the opponent before the weapon though.
-Low chassis height is good, looks like you still have some mobility if your bot gets flipped.
Great starter effort! You have a lot of potential. Try not to take the critics too seriously, but strive to improve. You got some of the basics pretty good. :D

Oh, and Badnik, just so you don't go crazy with the AI for my bot. You can set up both weapons to fire with the smartzone. I don't forsee Mouser winning any matches so don't go through too much trouble really. Since it can't reliably self right, it will probably get flipped and counted out anyways. :P

I liked the old forums quite a bit. When it got shut down by Atari (or whoever) I was really bummed out and didn't like the changeover to GTM. Frankly, I considered just giving up and dropping the game/community altogether. (and quite a few members did that actually)
But, gotta praise ACAMS here, he has done a great job listening to our feedback and making adjustments to the forum. GTM now is waaaaaay better than it was back then.
Frezal is right, the true war was between the Aceuplink vs official forum. That was quite a war from what I have heard.
Stock vs DSL? I'm on the DSL side... stock lost its fun for me when stacking became an artform.

Wait, what VGA did you have before you upgraded?
Because I thought my new laptop could run it, but you have just got me in doubt.
My computer had an onboard ATI Radion chipset (which should work ok with iracing). I upgaded the video card to a higher end video card because I really want it to be smooth and with nice detail. The more important upgrade was my RAM. I only had 2 gigs while running WIN7 32bit. That was going to be super slow running the game. 6 Gigs shall run it to my liking. PR-2FREE gives you two free months
Ah, ok thank you. I will keep you posted next week. The free months thing might be nice, though I am pretty interested in driving a COT as well. Will have to think about it. I have some money transferring into my Paypal, when that is done, I will be signing up. :D Can't wait to race you if I can.
