Two prospectors are panning for gold by the river.
The first one says
"I bet I can find more gold than you."
The second one says
"bro, do you even sift?"

I do base stuff off of haters things.

Family Guy and Glee tried that.  Do you really want to be on the level of those shows?
But the FCC episode (of family guy) was pretty damn funny...

I'm talking more about things like "oh, go complain about it on the internet" for Family Guy, and Glee making an episode where it looks like  they're finally going to give Tina some appreciation, but instead it becomes a Rachel episode after about 10 mins.

I am, but Guinness isn't.  I suppose I could've looked up the conversion, but I had a pretty good idea of a ballpakr estimate, and knew it was a couple zeroes more than a fast-tracking was worth to me.

Last night I sent an application to Guinness Book of World Records for my collection of Robot Wars replicas.  It'll be 4-6 weeks before I hear back; I didn't think it was worth 450 pounds to expedite the process

Smidsy.  The flipper component is the tapered sheetwedge from the beetlebros pack, so the face is slanty but it was the perfect shape.  Figured it was pointless to give them the jaws weapon, since clamps don't work, so did the S6 version with the flipping wedge and disc.

It's too confusing.  You have to fight to the death to determine who gets to keep it.

[quote author=ianh05 link=topic=12187.msg574515#msg574515 It's easy to hate on something new that you think will ruin something you love, this isn't something to replace robot wars/battlebots it's more of a robot boxing thing. We should all just appreciate the work that went into those robots.

I'll grant you that; Mark Setrakian is a builder that I have undying respect for becuase he always builds these multimillon dollar bots and isn't afraid to get them smashed up.  I'd think that some of the damage had to be real; it is two ten-ton behemoths whacking each other, and I can't imagine why they'd purposely rig a hydraulics cable to break; those things are a pain to clean up after and replace.

What they have to do is ditch the reality show style format, confessionals and such; because I associate reality TV with "faked"

Type out the following in proper-case:

I SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT I WILL NOT USE BOT FILE EDITING ON ANY ROBOT THAT I ENTER IN A TORUNAMENT

Good?  Good, now here's what you need.  Keep in mind that this only works if you have a good txt flie editor like Notepad++ and not regular old Notepad

The actual fight was pretty badass, and the damage looked real enough, what with hydraulic fluid leaks and armor panels that were warped.

If they pick up the pace in future episodes, I'll eat some humble pie.  I'd be real disappointed if they padded out all the episodes to one fight per.

I suppose the text is somewhat more readable tha I though, but it's sort of like that optical illusion where you've got a small cricle within a bigger one, and then another small circle off to the side  and the 2 small circles are the same size, but the one inside the big circle looks smaller.  In my defense, 8 point is pretty small in any circumstance

Ok, it's quite better than I tohugh.  The robots' movements are a lot less restricted than I thought, what with the sticks and all.  The actual fighting, when they got to it, was everything I expected.

But really, I don't give a frack about the contestants themselves, good for them for being an olympian, MMA fighter, daughter of George Lucas, etc. but I don't need to hear their insipid confessionals, robot boxing has very little to do with "I call myself a country boy."

As Elvis Presley said "A little less conversation, a little more action please."  I think we could've somehow had a fight occur before 1/3 throug the program.

Size DOES matter.  The size of the text for instance, which I can barely read, and I've got 20/20 vision.

I posted a note on Youtube and Tumblr; looks like it didn't come to fruition.  I worked on my Mario Paint cover of Some Nights by FUN but I thought real hard about GTM the whole time.  That's gotta be worth something.

The other problem is that I kept getting additional-post warnings while I was trying to add my signature, and I'd have to do it over again

Guys, these thousand pixel pics aren't good for the server, this thread will become unopenable at this rate. what we should be doing is sending all our signatures to one guy who'll take care of putting them in a card.  To start, here's mine:

Why don't we all just make them in PNG form, which is transparent, and post them here?
