Driving doesn't matter at all against Sheck Spinners because you will get hit no matter what. Well really it does, for as User or AI, you don't want to expose somethings like your wheels or unarmored spots ....

Nice, Duck. It might help if you showed a pic or 2 of the arena. I'd like to see it myself.
BTW: Duck, I remember guiding you through some arena stuff, almost a year ago. And you just put a flame in this present arena,... cool. Did you rename the python?
So, do you think you remember enough to do a basic tutorial on arena building/moding? CB/FB and Goose seem to also be tied up with busy-ness. Let me know, for the Wiki; and I'll help. (Sage has been given some exposure to arenas too. He's quick to learn.)

Nar's right. You really can't mix regular 'realistic' simulated robot fighting (i.e. RA2), with cannons and such. But cannon battles are fun, and call for great skill and strategy; but they'd have to be a different class than Stock and DSL bots.
Maybe there could be an "AI Cannon Bot" Tourney, using Stock and/or DSL parts. There are now a couple AI.py available so people could AI their own combat bots, either 'chassis' aiming or 'servo' aiming of weapons. Maybe I'll host this (in all my spare time) and give it a try.
I'll start a thread on this sometime soon, if there's enough interest.

Well, there's NO way IC 2 can't get under Thor 3- look at that big ground clearance.
Against Destroyer (what a generic name...), I really don't know - Destroyer can't possibly flip IC 2's wedge design and IC 2 won't get under Destroyer easily. I have the edge in defense/mobility, he has the edge in offense. I like your bot, Nar, cool design, but I can't picture how it would do battling a large VS. You may be right, we'll see. Hope you do well. Nice bot, K-3. Watching these big VSs go at it will be fun.

I'm trying to picture how it'll do against Someone's and Nar's potent bots, but I can't seem to picture an obvious victor. Have to wait and see.

Last 2 posts = wise bot-building info, Urjak. Really can't add much to their input.
I don't think 'chassis size' can be over emphasized; small as possible is best because of weight and vulnerability.
