Well, I might as well post something not useless today.
Inspired by Pys. All of it is built off of two axles. The setup is pretty simple: ...____ ..|......| .[|...._|] <-- Axles ..|......| ...----- The extenders that come off of the axles are in the supervolts, and you can pretty much guess how the motors are attached. I haven't tested it yet, but it's damn glitchy in the garage. Also, I built my BOTM bot. I just have to make a splash and send it in. 1406

Existing Games / Xbox live game show« on: June 16, 2009, 02:19:59 PM »
It's basically a trivia game show, except instead of having to go somewhere, you can participate through Xbox Live. Long in short, one person is selected to answer a question and they are against 100 others. If they win, they get Microsoft Points (Xbox live equivalent of money) that they can use to purchase game add-ons and other media like movies and stuff from the Xbox marketplace.
Personally, I think the whole concept of having an "online" game show is a pretty neat idea. Not only can you reach a large audience worldwide over the internet, but it provides a huge new frontier for advertising companies. Just imagine: instead of reaching a couple million households in the US with a 30-second spot during "Deal or No Deal," any company can basically sponsor and pay for advertising spaceon the show background. I could write a whole paper on this, but I'll stop. I doubt anybody really cares :P 1410

That's odd. I'm running a full scan now just in case. If I find anything like what you said, I'll post what I find.

Stock Showcases / HurricaneAndrew's Showcase« on: June 15, 2009, 10:33:01 PM »Quote from: HurricaneAndrew;44295 Also, here are some updates of my previous bots. -Quoted for ease of showcase viewing- You should learn how to eFFe glitch. That way, you'll be able to put more components on your tribars, burst motors, etc. Try to avoid anything other than razor tips, iron spikes, and maces on spinners. Other weapons (like pole spikes) only do damage at certain points, which is okay if you want to make a rammer, but they limit the effectiveness of spinners. Also, granny guard wheels are fine on some spinners, but try to stick to shiny wheels and rubber wheels on anything else. They are lighter and give a lower ground clearance. Ballasts are always a bad idea, because you can always add more useful stuff with the weight. But, you've been getting better. I strongly suggest you download Starcore v1.0 if you haven't already. It's quite hard at first, but having tougher opponents really helps you improve. 1414

The problem with titanium plates is that using them means the bot is unrealistic, unless I re-position the razors. Ideally, I would use them though.

Well, I decided to re-build obZen again. Here's what the result is:
It's faster, wedgier, and just as destructive. 4 NPC fast drive will do that. It also has titanium 5. The only thing I'm not happy about are the hex plates on the wedges. They're pretty weak, so any ideas on alternatives would be great. 1418

To stop a large VS from flipping, you need to have a rather large wheelbase. I'm guessing you've seen Nightmare before, so try and emulate your extender work after Nightmare is built. Right now, you're wasting alot of uneccesary weight that you could put to much better use, like better armour, etc.
