Added the bot from this video:

because everyone saw that video and when we were noobs didn't everyone try to do that same design? It influenced all of us (well most of us anyway)
What impressed me was the skinning and how the chap had made his own avatar   =P

My fantasy Rally Car.  :gawe:
It's very purple   :P
I know. The original is Red, so I decided to paint it purple. ;)
Coolio. Personally though, I would've chosen something similar to this-

Demoknight > Typical Soldier though.

Lies. They charge at you? Launch a rocket at their feet and watch as they miss you completely, then either follow up with shotgun blasts or more rockets. Demoknights rarely kill me 1 v1, unless its an enclosed space...and even then, they don't come out of it very well. They're just too easy to kill imo..

You can't run away from them because when they spam the Charge, they're faster than most characters, and most of them kill characters in 2 or 3 hits. My Scout, no matter how hard I hit them with the FaN, usually always meets his demise by a Demoknight. I can't run from them, I can out jump them (Atomizer ftw) I can't get enough hits on them with anything and the atomic drink takes too long to use.
And that's the miracle of Compression Blasts for you   :approve:

I've entered about 20, won two of 'em, and placed in the top three/four of several others.

Imma break the combo, and go for Demoman, myself. I find his weapons much more useful and better suited for multiple roles, and he's good for moving around quickly both horizontally and vertically. I'm currently learning with the Expert's Ordnance  (Loch & Load and the Ullapool Caber), and I'm already getting some good kills.

On the flipside, Soldier's too slow for my liking and the Rocket Launcher doesn't nearly seem as powerful as everyone makes it out to be unless it's Crit-boosted.

People like you need a Direct Hit or a Liberty Launcher. Then you'll realize that Soldier is actually the most powerful of the batch. The nerfed speed of Soldier really doesn't matter when you consider that he can cover a ton of ground very quickly with a few Rocket Jumps. With some help, you can kill a Medic/Heavy team in seconds.

Meanwhile, you can do something similar to Rocket Jumping with Demoman, he moves faster, and in theory can cause more damage. But you're looking at Defense vs Assault here. Demoknight > Typical Soldier though.
Tried those, but the problems are that the Direct Hit's blast damage outside of a dead-on shot is pitiful, the Liberty Launcher always leaves me vulnerable with one less rocket, and in the case of both, opponents always seem to miraculously move out of the way even with the buffed Rocket Speed, and even if they haven't seen me coming.

Then they suddenly counter-attack, pretty much leaving me a sitting duck- with snail-like pace, no rockets in the chamber to jump away with, and crippled range with only a Shotgun to fight back with if they attack me from far away. At least with Demoman, I can actually do something in time.

And yes- I was getting to that when I mentioned Demoman being able to move quickly both forward and upwards with Bomb Jumping. With Rocket Jumping, from what I've seen, is only really good for upward movement and gaining height advantages on opponents rather than moving forward quickly, as can also be done with the Stickybombs.

Not so sure about team names, but I suppose that if you built a HW, you could call it the Bear Jew*   =P

*Just in case you're wondering, it's a reference to Inglourious Basterds

Are there hats?

There are these things called "Perks". Don't know what they do, and to be honest, I doubt they'd compare to a good old Gibus.
GIBUSSES SUCK

Anyway, I found this-

Am I the only one who thinks that Heavy sounds far more intelligent here than he does in English?

Just played black ops round a friends house on the xbox.

Apparently you can't rocket jump, pipe jump, sticky jump or double jump in CoD. What a terrible game...
No Jarate, either   D:

Schweet. What did you make the barrel and the head out of? I'd guess side panels, but that would take an age to get them all individually skinned. Unless it was that nuclear barrel component from Firebeetle's pack.
The head's a Skull Head from one of the old component packs, and the rounded bit consists of one of the Nuclear Barrels, IIRC.

Major Tom, the Series 4 version.  It would've been done several hours ago if not for my perfectionism:
