Just cause Orc uses it doesn't mean the rule isn't dumb. I'm flattered that people still have Paladin PTSD, but the meta has moved on and gutripper VS would dump on it.
I might actually make something for this, we'll see. Looking forward to it!
Sure there are some rules in OW that need changing for next time but the burst rule has been in since OW2 and I've not really heard objections about it. That being said, while I am honoured some people like to copy some of my rules, make sure you're doing it for the right reasons and not just to copy for the sake of it. We need tournament diversity...which honestly Deathmatch does really well and I'm happy it's still CW.

Do they need to be showcased before being entered or can they be showcased afterwards? The reason being I thought BOTM was supposed to be sorta anonymous so that ppl genuinely voted for the best bot rather than choosing a vet over a noob or something like that. If they are showcased before then everyone will know who made what.
I think at this point honestly people can more often than not guess who is who correctly. I'd rather have the website continuously by showcase use than just for the short time of guessing who built what, if you catch my drift. It shouldn't be about WHO built it, it should be about what stands out the most.

Hello all! Thanks again for your feedback about BOTM! Starting onwards, BOTM will mostly remain the same apart from that entries for it must now be SHOWCASED alongside being messaged to the BOTM account. Hopefully, this will provide a bit of a burst in showcases and encourages feedback/talk. Kix will host this month again but we're planning on alternating hosts monthly to stop people getting bored/burning out. (Also if you said you can host Challenge Belt, say what meta(s) as that would be very helpful. Thanks! As for BOTM, perhaps people who want to enter it could PM their showcase entry(ies, depending on meta) of choice to the BOTM host? I'm thinking out loud here. What incentive(s) would persuade YOU to help out with hosting? I know hosting can be a chore but if we really want to get things running better then we need to start working better as a community.
