Maybe domanating ? It's not me anyways and we don't seem to be more than 3 insect enthusiasts on here.

Domanating's primarily a DSL builder, and he's not been rather active for the past few weeks. Anyways, voted for #3.

Probably due to the torque of the NPC Fast so that it can launch bots, I'm assuming.

RFS?

RadioFSoftware, he made an AI pack which has a similar looking bot to yours. Could be that yours and his take inspiration from a similar thing.

Now that I've resurrected my display tournament, I can have a nice throwback to the start of my showcase, and improve the robots I built for it originally.

For starters, Heimdall has gone from this:

to this

Reminds me of that RFS SnS, except your's is actually good.

Not much to say about it really, other than it's a bit boring but does decently against the DSL AI bots.

Might want to consider shrinking the chassis somewhat, and Piglets would be sufficient enough for a triple-razor hexplate leaving more weight for razors. Not only that, you should replace the aluminiums holding the Perm 80s(?) with polycarbonates to save weight. Also, skirt-hinges holding the bottom "feeder wedge" generally are insufficient, and you may consider using a metal hinge instead.

Yes, I understand, Praetorian doesn't look like that, but due to stability issues, the plows were a must.

Chestburster doesn't look like that either, but it was in serious need of an upgrade.

Regarding the current fate of the AI Pack, I'll be relasing the Alpha soon, which will consist of 5 teams instead, (Jabberwocky, Alien Invasion, Karnage, Spin Doctors, Ultimatum).

The main issue now are the skins and Bindings. My bindings are different mainly because most of the AI in my game have been replaced by other bots instead of the default DSL AI. As for the skins, they will be different to say the least.

I can help with bindings, if you have any problems just give a PM and I'll probably provide the bindings for you. As for the bots, the only problem I see is that Facehugger and Chest Burster are in the wrong weight classes, though that aside you've got some nice bots.

Four days left, you should consider building an entry if you don't want to see a tournament with fourteen bye-bots.

Ok, wedges don't line up perfect but oh well.

Dear S.H.I.E.L.D:

You're doing it wrong.

lol

i'm only replicating starcore's designs

So it's basically just Starcore or DSL2?

My body is ready, BB8.

*Mad Max is also my Poker-Night entry, just want to point that out.

can we see a better pic of the setup?

it's gonna get raped by any wedge and anything with an average amount of weaponry. plus its unrealistic lolololo

You're on the mark about wedges. It's meant to be unrealistic on purpose since S.H.I.E.L.D is making an "Unrealistic DSL AI Pack" and I thought I'd give my two cents on his idea in the form of a bot.

When nobody was looking, Paranoia stacked four ants. That's as many as two twos, and that's terrible.
