So you say new members should stay away from the discord but instead stay on the forum that doesn't offer them anything?
I don't pay too much attention to the gtm discord so I don't know what exactly is going on there. I can see some new members acting really newbish and I sometimes sit in front of the screen and shake my head but I try to stay silent most of the time and keep a neutral point of view towards em. It can be annoying and it's easy to make fun of them but if the forum is kinda dead why don't we/you try to take the new members and properly introduce them to the forum and help them out?
Some of them may only stay for a few days or weeks but there can always be one guy that has the potential to turn everything around to create the next big thing.

Welcome to GTM. First of all: Try to refund RA3 if you still can. Second: I don't know much about the tech but there are enough people who can tho. Look around in showcases to see what other people build but most imprortant is to not limit yourself by others but rather have your own buildingstyle no mather if it's the stock game or in the DSL mod. Have fun

I was the only kid that seem to watch AND enjoy robot wars back when it was on TV. I always drew pictures of robot and one day I was sitting next to a classmate that I didn't had to do with until then. He told me he had this game in which you can build bots n stuff. It was a pirated copy of RA2 that he gave me the next day.

He still uses uhmw. That gets shredded in antweights. Watching now, he just beat SubZero.
when ever you post something I have to shake my head... but on topic: the rumble was my favorite fight. Free Shipping had me laughting when the flame bursted out the first time as it looked like Gary got some inspiraton from the Scottsman. Also it burning mecha rampage and selfrighting was glorious. Duck deserved that win tho.
Also Huge is glorious <3
I'm worried about Bombshell. Tho it seems it sucks at winning its first fights it might can come back. But I still feel like the original had a bit more personality
