The Rule Of Six dictates that you shall always be known as either Garvin or GTG. Just like Goldenfox93 is known as GF, and Virus Bomb simply VB. Or Scrap Daddy. =P

Snowplows tend not to work as stabilisers. Obvious Pneudonym showed that in RoboLeague. Get rid of them, get rid of the wedge on the front, and add some angled skirts (preferably 80cm at this weight) to stabilise it. Also swap the wheels (Vlads, maybe), swap the Baseplate Anchor for an ME (lighter and smaller), and make sure the weapons don't go through anything. They're slicing the control board in half right now.

I like how the "KILL IT WITH FIRE AND MAGNETS" areas are the colour of the Republican party.

what college feels like; (Image removed from quote.)
I'm usually quite good with college.
But Mondays are like this:

Strangely enough, my college course is completely <expletive>ing up right now. This is the first year they've actually run the course, but I'd have assumed they'd be able to get everything sorted out.

Why are my wedges always so terrible...

Looking spectacular. Only problem I can see is the beaters on the flipper segments in the middle impeding the bot from one pair of drums. If you attach them flat, then I reckon the drums could come into play more often. Axle-mounted Spike Strips also look cool, though might not be terribly effective.

I never understood why the new posts icon was firestorm. Shouldn't it be EMERGENCY or another RA2 bot?
Nah, too boxy. Firestorm is sleek, colourful, agile, great in combat. SFTW is the exact opposite of that.

Looking suitably schweet. It is a shame that it's so bouncy, but then that's sort of the problem with drum bots and other vertical spinning weaponry, especially when they lose a weapon. That completely wrecks your wedges. But it's a very nice build, albeit with quite a bit more extender work than I would normally use.

Hmm. It's pretty good for a first try, you're sticking to the principles of the original. What would help in getting the opponents into the drums, and getting the chassis lower, is if you just made the front of the chassis a sort of entry ramp, and didn't bother with the Betas at all. You'd need to get some substantial drive to make sure you get the opponent up the wedge enough and into the rollers, and you'd also need to make sure the opponent didn't fly straight over. Perhaps angled steel skirts sticking out the back would act as both trappers and stabilisers, making sure you didn't get knocked over by the flying opponent.

Looks excellent. Very nice drive setup you have there. Hopefully the drum's got enough reach.

Nice sturdy-looking, simple bot. I'd try to get another set of Flipper makers to go on the top, so it looks more even. And perhaps not have the Side Panels sticking out like that. Apart from that, I very much like it. You've got some pretty good IRL designs.

Ah well. Hopefully things pick up for you soon. =) And not yet, but I am getting there, don't you worry. Will you return when I beat your record?

Hey there, Joe. =) Hope things are going well for you.
I think I heard somewhere about a Mac program that would emulate a Microsoft OS or something, so you could run PC stuff on it.

No. It's not permitted in regular DSL either.

Better, possibly, lighter, not necessarily. The chassis can be made smaller, and you save more than the 2kg you expend by having two Nifties rather than a Blackvolt. So it all works out in the end. Speaking of which: Now has Z-Tek drive, 8 maces, 2 irons, 6 razors. Still DSA, still 2 Nifties, 398.0 Has a rather nasty habit of tilting forwards which lowering the casters somehow makes worse.

I wonder if this will work. 396.0, DSA, 2 Nifties (shut up Naryar), HPZ drive. 6 maces and 10 irons in total. I could drop to Z-Tek drive, and swap the ramming razors for maces and side irons. Definitely more extender work than I'd normally use, but it does look a lot cleaner for it.

Looks very cool. But yeah, something should be done about that weapon. Maybe drop to Tite 3, and get a cooler looking weapon, maybe a hexplate and Cutting Teeth or something like that.
