once i've got the motor, lipo, etc i think i'll just try a few different spinner types and see how it goes but i'll start off with a simple bar spinner

now i'm not sure on whether to make my ant a bar spinner or a shell spinner when I build it, mainly because i've never seen an antweight shell spinner ( maybe for a very good reason ) and i'd like to see how it would do

I have a dilemma guys, a set of 12v drill motors with mounts and 75mm robochallenge wheels have just come up for sale, should i get these, run them for a while and then upgrade to the gimson robotics motors later or should I just spend the extra money on the gimson motors from the start ?

OK then, so I don't need to worry about that. However, with the 'deactivating the weapon' part, will just not touching the weapon (Flipper) control count? (Bad wording is bad.)
it basically means when you turn your controller off, the weapon ( and drive ) should stop moving completely

If you want to use servo's for drive I'd recommend these: http://www.giantcod.co.uk/towerpro-mg90s-22kg-torque-ball-raced-micro-servo-p-403863.html

Although motors are still definitely the best option
they are really good servos but you will have to modify them yourself

You reminded me of Ashens in your video. And that's a good thing.

Also, as you may know, I know less than nothing about antweights, but that axe looks woefully undamaging and underarmoured.
antweight axes never really do much damage

thanks but I think i'm going to make the top of the shell as 1 piece by bending hdpe with a heat bar and just screw it through the baseplate, might use those in the future though

go on componentshop.co.uk and look at small battery packs and choose the futaba connector on whichever battery  pack you choose
try this link http://www.component-shop.co.uk/html/small_packs.html   the different connectors are explained on the right side of the page

sorry guys, I keep forgetting to put ito posts that i'm properly rebuilding anarchist with screws rather than hot glue before i even think about building a spinner because i'd rather have something i know is safe over a hot glue manufactured accident waiting to happen

I now have a dilema, I either want to rebuild anarchist as a lightning style flipper because i've never seen an antweight like that before or completely convert it into a spinner.
PLEASE HELP

Anarchist will be held together with screws as soon as I get back to school because it's going through a complete rebuild so it is better than a glue gun manufactured accident waiting to happen, the spinner will be held together with screws as well
