...oh. Just when I'd posted a MW Flipper. Makes mine look like crap.
No, yours just looks more Robot Wars =P But seriously, this very robot has just given me doubts on whether or not to enter BB5... lol

Wow, you've improved :)
Ill go with Massimo on that one, though. Instead of using a baseplate anchor for your wedge, try to use a multi extender. (that little red and black thing). That will save you 2 kg for whatever you think of would help it :P
Can it drive when inverted?

A good tip when building a shell spinner:
ALWAYS listen to Urjak.

I just worked out that the flipper arm is precisely 30kg.
Good one there, boss :)

Would people hate me if I reused SkidMark?
Why should we hard it, because it kicked our asses?

GF, I love the name :3 So, if the bot itself is called tosser, correct. So when it flips it has a b0ner... I have a dirty mind. Anyway: Let's shove this one in Nar's face, shall we? It's effective, it looks good, the chassis is very tight around the components... I'll shut up now, but you DO need to build more often, boss.

Anyone wanna team up with someone who's unwell and may not be able to get a bot in on time?
I will, as I'm not that great at DSL and will most likely miss the deadline.
Sorry, Preytor. I've just lost the will to play DSL.

But if they do enter, then they bump another entry out of the bracket. I - at the risk of being decapitated - REALLY don't want Urjak stretching the IRL rules as far as he can, and pushing a much better "IRL" entry out of the brackets. I think a better way of making this work would be that a seed can claim their spot in only one of the four brackets. That would give the unseeded machines a chance to battle as well.
And stop complaining about Urjak, just because two of his bots was unrealistic doesn't mean you get to bitch and moan about it. I'll modify the rules a little to help, but seriously guys.
FTFY You find very few effective FBS IRL.

I made this thread for people to post real cheats so other people could try it.
We have cheat code websites for that.

I'd agree with the downsides of the seeding system. For one thing, 12 out of 20 seems too many, in my view. Plus, I would much rather see dragonsteincole's machines in the tournament than Urjak's barely realistic stuff, but Urjak's "seeding" as a result of winning more matches, means he would gain automatic entry. I don't think that's fair, personally.
Why don't you start another common sense brigade?

Is it just me, or is this cheat a hoax? I said REAL cheats and that only.
Indeed it is. But Derpy over got done by it so that was pretty funny

Not necessarily true, I think people can and have some up with some great uses for saws, like frequency rammers (as they keep dealing damage as long as they're in contact, they make good, if a little heavy, ramming weapons) and I think axes/hammers need to make a comeback personally
I'll make one for BB5

Bleh, I was a seed, and suddenly I've been demoted T.T But yeah, even if I was, this guaranteed bye thing is a little... weird :/ Like smashy said, some made un-IRL bots, and also it restricts how successful a potentially great 'unseeded' robot is, if it's knocked out by something equally awesome which then goes up against something that doesn't deserve to be where it is and would usually be knocked out in round 1. But yeah, it's your tournament, that's just my take, and I'll probably still enter.
