Like the one in your avatar? As far as i'm concerned that's a HS and that is A-ok by me.
A shell spinner is something that has a protective spinning "shell" around it that is the main cause of damage. Like Grog The Vengeful.

No no no. I'm not getting into a Thwackbot vs SNS debate. As far as i'm concerned that is an SNS.

How is that Perm mounted? It looks like a multi-extender-perm. Surely you could cut out the extender and save some weight?
And have you tried removing the perm then replacing it?

No limit on entries. Everyone can enter up to two bots.
I also edited the rules to bring it down to one robot per entrant.

I swear I changed that.
Oh well, fixed now.

Remove the \ at the end of the url.

When I mean to quote I press modify argh
I'll put it up on the Bot Exchange. I would say it's just about realistic. If things like Jaws of Defeat are considered realistic with the razors close together on extenders then i'd say this is, too.

Edit: Here you go, have a look for yourself.

A few things:
1) It's actually 794.8kg. Ignore the weight on the img.
2) 51 razors, actually! You were close, though.
3) Already as wide as it'll go.

My possible entry. Also if people don't say something soon i'm just going to go screw it and go with the edited ring arena.
I also edited the rules to bring it down to one robot per entrant.

Confusion- You know it's driving me wild~

Possible entry for Two Tribes. If people ever chirp in and give opinions on the arena and the like. (Hint hint)

and back armor is useless when the AI only attacks head on
I'd debate this, personally. I'm pretty sure AI just aims for the other robot, regardless of position. At least that's how it works in my experience.
Anyway, aesthetically wise:
-I'd got for another type of wheel, possibly Tazbot, just because S3 wheels just look odd comparatively.
-How about DSL bars instead of those titanium plates for side armour? It'd look neater with the rest of the bot.
-If you are going for a more IRL type look, how about using a Judge Burst motor instead of two BSG's? It would save on battery weight. You could connect it to a extender, then to the back shell segment, making a srimech/flipper combo.
-And i'm not really seeing the point of the Disk on top, all it seems to be doing is hampering invertability.

But having said all that, I like it! I think the lightning spikes on the drum look especially cool.

And then people would complain about the gamebreaking blade when a bot gets hit by it and flung out. Plus if hazards are off, then what's the point?

I'd say so, yes. If they were just reskins then that would be fine. But as you're changing their attributes...

My opinion on boxrushing still stands...

But the way the start points are layed out, robots pretty much have to turn 45* to face an opposing robot, it would pretty much be the same in the blade arena.

The spikes. The spikes. OH DEAR GOD THE SPIKES.

As far as I can tell the spikes screw with the ai half of the time.

I would if I could but I have no idea. This was produced by me identifying what the edge was in the gmf and changing the number. I have no idea how to add to it.

If anyone with more Arena knowledge is willing to help then by all means, though.
