You have a point there. What about Stock or DSL 2.1?
I kind of have a feeling that there is no point in returning back to DSL 2.1 though.
dsl 2.1 is still awful honestly, stock isn't as bad. best bet is retooled or ironforge Stock will be nothing more than "HS vs Popups: the tournament"
dont worry, there are people who are actually not plebs and can make a decent non hs/popup

Got bored, made an arena from the Small Arena   You can push a bot OOTA via the corners, neat. Needs collision lines added for rammer.py and it's own custom cameras added still, maybe I'll do that some day. You can get The VaporZone here!Let me know if a screwed anything up too guys.

Maybe because you must've modded the game so it wouldn't crash yourself? Even tried to download the patch, still crashes. 
1. Are you running it windowed or fullscreened? 2. Are you running it with or without compatibility mode? 3. Where is your RA2 folder located, some people have had problems in the past if it is actually in their program files folder instead of some place like the desktop or documents. 4. Are you Alt Tabbing out of the game?
