I try to enjoy all equally.  :3

DP

So GK is hosting this? I have a strange, new and hopefully killer concept for this

Yup. Looks like GK will be the host.  I have a couple of bots in the works, but nothing that makes me happy yet.  Daytona 500 is on in appx 1 hour... so I wont be working on anything till later this eve.  I would imagine you understand.  :D

Ah, thats not a bad car to do up. What do you plan to do with it?

Nothing actually.  All of my upgrade attention goes into my RX7. I have a lot of work to do on that this year.

General Support / Re: Problems getting DSL 2.1 to work
« on: February 19, 2011, 09:26:09 PM »
I tried what both of you said. I downloaded the DSL 2.0, extracted it to an empty folder on my desktop, then dragged the contents into a fresh install of RA2. Then I did the same with the 2.1, and I still have the same problem. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit if that makes any difference.

Hmmm. What graphics card are you running? I have 7 64 bit as well, but I am running the Nvidia patch to support my graphics card.

I hope you manage to get it to work. It can be frustrating, but I have faith you will eventually get it sorted out.

I could be wrong, but I believe you dont extract directly into the RA2 folder.

You have to extract the files into a different temporary folder then drag and drop it all into the RA2 folder.  When it asks if you want to overwrite certain files you say "yes".

Try that.

Ok then, Joe or Trov can close the topic then. Sorry to be a bother.

Your intentions were good. So its cool man.  :D

We all want vets to return, but it works out better if they do it on their own.

I bought a new (used) car today.  :3
Whut one?

This:

08 Scion TC

Had to get a picture off google images. Mines exactly the same (color, rims, trim, etc) except it is dirty from the drive home.  :P

@ Naryar.  I only have three cars.  A commuter beater, a nicer fun car, and a garage project.   If I was rich and had a big garage I would love to collect cars.

Hmm...

Even if Badnik consistently showed more fight-worthy designs than Jack, Jack's the more cunning of the two by a good margin, so I say Jack wins.

Of course if he decides to enter again a candy bot, he will probably lose.

Haha, candy bot. Nooooo way.  I am going to take this match pretty seriously.  Badnik has always been my competition rival.  Every time I enter a tournament it seems like I get matched up against him at some point.

This will be fun.  I will start building this weekend.

Well, damn... I was going to give this a shot, but my stock is refusing to run.

With my dial-up internet and the fact that my RA2 disc is at ThisDude's house and I can't get it for a while since I am snowed in, I am screwed.
Why not download a fresh copy from Sage's sig?
Dial-up internet. Maybe he can't use his computer for long intervals of time for family reasons.

WINNAR!

It would literally take three to four hours to download RA2 with my connection.

Next time you download it. Just back it up to a pocket drive and keep that aside safe.

I don't think I have downloaded this game in almost 2 years because I have copies of it everywhere on my external hard drives and usb drives.  :P

I added you to my "myracing" buddies list. When we are online at the same time we should make it happen.  I am still trying to get the hang of Legends cars in Boston Speedway.  :P

There's also an alcoholic beverage called jack daniels.
I asked JD if he knew what No. 7 mean't, because only Jack Daniels knows what No. 7 means. :P

The funny part is that I have no idea...

I'm not really a whiskey person.  I'm more of a beer person.  Though, Coors Light just didn't seem like a good forum name at the time. (still doesn't)
