I agree that it's a minor niggle. But the reason they're angled as such are to protect the HPZ's from spinners, I'm pretty sure. I think those back razors might look more appealing if they were angled backwards a little bit, sort of like a very small pair of wings.

And an advance congratulations to NFX for becoming Tournament Moderator.
Do not count your chickens and so forth. You could end up with turtles. They can't fly, and they get stuck on their back. Also, SM could change his avatar to a very slightly different shade of blue to better match his new orange name. =P EDIT: Ah, there we go. =) Time to get to work.

6WD Magmotors ? Seriously ? What were you drinking when you built that ?
It's only 2WD Magmotors. It might just look like six because of the Storm Skirt bits sticking out the sides. I should have painted the sides something other than black.

ME's are the only things that would fit there, annoyingly
try axle loading + alu extender
The ME's are attached to the Aluminium extender supports. The collision mesh of the Storm Arm is off to one side, so it was quite hard to get ME+Alu Extender in the position I would have wanted. Apologies to Mr. AS, I hit the Modify button by mistake.

I'll throw my hat into the ring for the Tournaments section. I'm reasonably active, hopefully I can keep things tidy in there. =)
Are you sure? It will be a job!
I reckon I could take care of it, yeah. Move tournaments into Completed, Signups and such, approve topics and so forth, keep the place tidy and such. =) I think I'll be able to get the hang of it soon enough. Also congratulations to Squirrel_Monkey on his recent AUship.

You should know him by now. Also, anybody here got minecraft for xbox yet no life?
No I'm fine.
Dafuq's your problem?
Maybe he doesn't like Minecraft. I believe I could join him in that sense since I detest Minecraft.
Agreed. Besides, this is the internet. Jokes like that are to be expected.

It should do. It doesn't really alter the way you go about your business or anything. It's just a little green thing.

Havok explosions are never going to go away. They're an integral part of the physics engine the game uses, and we'd have to get into the .exe file to alter it, which nobody has managed so far.
Also, that pic should be in your DSL showcase.

It could be a ring spinner. Ring spinners can't be built in RA2, but they're perfectly acceptable IRL bots.

Wanted to try something with Storm Arms. 397.0 kg. ME's are the only things that would fit there, annoyingly, and still get the look I wanted. Plastic 1, but who cares.

I do prefer the looks of the second one, personally. It's like a big dragon-looking thing. Beater Bars don't appear to fit, in my view, but that's the only worry for me. What's attached to the Judge Bursts on the second one? (I assume that's what they are.)

Looks like quite a good concept, I suppose. With a few tweaks, it could probably be a killer. If you swapped for Metal Hinges, as has been suggested, that should improve your wedginess immediately. Also, if the Spike Clubs were swapped for Razor Tips, and positioned so they swung backwards, like a true popup, that could help an opponent that hasn't gotten to the drums yet.

*deletes*
like I said before, I'm not asking for bots. I could probably fill the last 11 or so spots by digging through my inbox and other places.
Possibly. Or you could add Antweight byebots, or shuffle the brackets around to match up the numbers better.

Isn't this circumventing the Tournament rules? If you're putting up the rules so people can submit bots themselves? Rather than just taking BW's that already exist?

Happy bidet, Somebody. I hope you have a good one, and you find that identity of yours soon.

That looks great!
I also always wonder how people get these high quality skins in RA2. For me, everything always turns out in the typical bad RA2 quality.
You want to resize the .bmp file to either 512x512, or 1024x1024. Anything higher is a waste, in my view. Bear in mind that you won't be able to modify it in-game if you up the resolution, though.
