(Image removed from quote.)
Oh the irony...

So we all love new arenas which offer us new places to play deathmatches etc. but what about new arenas that give us brand new ways to play the game? they are possible and very rarely explored. Here we can discuss these new game modes. To start with here are 2 of the newest game modes you'll be able to use with the Robo Zone Arena and one brand new idea for it that might be added in the future.
Gauntlet Mode - Coming Soon!:
Compete for the first time against 3 opponents, starting of as a 1vs1 match this mode makes the match more difficult as time goes on if you don't defeat the first opponent in time and new bots enter the match from their cages. This mode will be available with the brand new Robo Zone arena.
Robo Zone Rumble - Coming Soon!:
This mode has 2 robots start the match while another 2 are waiting in their cages, this provides the caged robots with an advantage as they come in when the first 2 have already beaten on each other. This mode gives you the chance to put top seeded robots from tournaments such as Robo Zone in cages to give them a well deserved advantage. This mode will be available with the brand new Robo Zone arena.
Tag Team Mode - Idea:
This mode is still in the idea stage, here is what I have so far. 2 Teams of 2 will compete in a match in which one robot from each team is locked in a cage, the robots starting the match will attempt to tag in their partner when they get below 50% health. Their partner will then come in and the damaged bot will go into the cage and be locked in until it's partner needs to make a tag.
This mode might be possible with a modified version of the new Robo Zone arena. The tagging system could use a button next to each cage for the current robot to push and raise the cage to switch with it's partner.

um pls correct me if im wrong but i dont get how the wii u basic has 8gb while discs have 25 gb
8gb is the systems internal storage for the basic. 8gb isn't much. They're doing a similar thing to what the xbox did at launch, 8gb won't be enough for hardcore gamers, who will need to shell out more cash. At least it's better than having what the wii had, which was about 3 or 4 bytes, judging by how many DL'ed game I could fit on there.
Also, who cares if BO2 is on the Wii U? It will always be most popular on the Xbox/Playstation, and that isn't going to change anytime soon. Besides, it'll be a port from the xbox anyways.
8gb should be fine for a few games plus anyone who has external drives won't really care about the extra 24gb as they have like 200gb+ extra they can use. As for BO2 I think it's there for the option, If players like BO2 and like the look of ZombiU they only need 1 console. Same goes for other games like batman AC, ME3 and AC3 they are all there to give players who enjoy those games and are interested in owning the Wii U that chance.

Did anyone else watch the nintendo direct held a few hours ago? If not I'll bring you up to speed and provide a link to the full video.
Key points:
*There are 2 different Wii U bundles, the basic pack ($300) and the premium pack ($350). *There is internal storage (despite rumors), 8gb for basic and 32g for premium. *You can still use external storage devices. *Disc capacity is 25gb. *It's available in NA on the 18th on november and in Europe on November 30th. *There will be 50 titles available between launch day and march next year. *Black Ops II has been confirmed for the Wii U. *Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is coming to Wii U. *Bayonetta 2 is coming to the Wii U and it’s an exclusive. *Nintendo Land is much more in-depth then people thought, the attractions feature multiple modes and stages. *The white Wii U console is included in the basic bundle while the black Wii U console is included in the premium bundle.
Here's the video:
Looks like I'll probably be getting the basic bundle as I have no need for the extra storage because I have an external hard drive I can use. ZombiU keeps looking better and better, they showed of (the new) weapons crafting in the video and you level up your weapons the more you use them.
Your thoughts?

True, I had to sort through about 12 folders of bots so I probably missed putting some of my bots in the rar file too.

lol this challenge favors gutrippers
>aw gutripper >sadtrombone.exe
Wedge + single razor on axle + 2 pinks? :P I should also note that the box does have defence on the bottom in the form of casters but there are spots where you can deal damage.

Ianh05's bot pack.644 bots, some other bots that aren't mine might have slipped in while I was trying to sort through the bots I have. A lot of AW's, some BW's, a lot of LW's, some heavier bots, plenty of older bots, a lot of bots I never showcased, failed experiments and some doubles/triples/quads of some bots.

With the release of the Beetlebros. bot pack I got to thinking, why don't we all do the same? we could all upload all the bots currently in our robot designs folder(s) that are yours and share them in one topic. We could keep the original post updated with all the uploads. Stock: 1. Beetlebros. bot pack.2. Ianh05's bot pack.

Here is a look of the arena in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxnrKouRqQ4&feature=youtu.be#ws This is a replay of the top 4 battle royal from Robo Zone 1 with the brand new arena that gives an advantage to your bot the closer it finishes to the top of the points ladder. 1st: UndeaD - 31pts 2nd: Antichrist V.1 - 27pts 3rd: spin cycle 2 - 24pts 4th: Robotogeddon - 23pts Robotogeddon and spin cycle 2 will start the match, after 30 seconds or when one of the first 2 are defeated Antichrist V.1 will enter the match and UndeaD will enter the match last after another 30 seconds or when only 1 robot remains in the match.

Yep, by using an axle and an extender to counter-act it you can create a pop-up effect.

Are we allowed to use your AW chassis for this?
Sure, as long as the bot is your own design.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiptSooj3_Q&feature=g-upl# It's a bit long but I wanted to put it flipping the test garage car in.
Not bad, could do without most/all the first part. If you have windows movie (live) maker you can set a start and end point for each video clip, it also comes with some animations for cut-aways etc.

you should only need 2 extenders, use glitching to connect the second one like this:
* *** * * * * * * *
You could probably upgrade the HS to irons by using 2 extenders too if rule of 7 allows it (which it should).

soooo I tried it out with plastic and a plow and I could only get a single razor on (lel) (Image removed from quote.) I know there has to be a more weight efficient way to get the plow on so if one of you could one of you could one of you could one of you could
Instead of using the disc you can probably manage to use extenders without rule of 7 killing the idea. It should give you enough weight for a second razor on the FS.
