The website will be outfitted with ad's of every sort, and using, listening to, referencing, or even thinking about copyrighted material will result in a ban.you forgot the part about disney buying a share in GTM and so if you reference anything from disney or arrange letters so that they are similar to a trademarked disney name you will be fined 50,000 dollars, banned and imprisoned for 4 years without the chance of parole and no bail. 1323

Relating it to it as a gender is a little awkward though.Well, I figured Assassins are cool, but female assassins are just epic, so, female assassin, therefor Assassiness (like Mistress, Waitress, Actress, etc) Thanks though :D There's more to come 1327

"You're finished!," Assassiness growled. Regaining his bearings, Groovy Taxi shoved her off of him and instantaneously rushed her. Bad idea, very bad idea. As if by instinct, Assassiness jolted her blades upward into his arms, causing him to drop the stalagmites on the floor.
The crowd was quiet. What did this mean? Did Groovy Taxi just lose? "Groovy Taxi awaits at our newbies mercy... Will he be mercifully saved, or bruta..." the announcer didn't get to finish the sentence. "He'll be brutally murdered..." Assassiness whispered under her breath, and in a quick and precise maneuver, tore the blades out of the beast's arms and ripped through its body with them, spilling its blood all over the two. Time seemed to slow down, Groovy Taxi's face twisted into that of a surprised horror, blood leaking out of his mouth. "Kch... Kch... Kid.," he sputtered before falling. The crowd, for a few seconds, did not know how to feel, and then from silence, cheers erupted throughout the Arena. Assassiness had completed her Rites of Passage. She was a newcomer-gone-crowd-favorite in only one match. Removing her blades from the corpse, she turned around, raising the bloodstained blades towards the sky. "It isn't rare for us to have newcomers, but to have this happen; This is a one-in-a-million occurrence, folks! Aaaaand, on to the next match!" 1330

Instantly, the two clashed, stopping each other in their tracks. Assassiness backed up to set up another attack, but little did she know how bad of an idea that was as Groovy Taxi rushed her, stalagmites outstretched in front of him. He knocked her off of her feet and continued his momentum, slamming Assassiness into a wall, barely missing one of the arena's Pulverizers.
"Ouch! In the name of Grog, what a hit!," the announcer boomed, prompting the fans to scream and cheer over him. Groovy Taxi dropped Assassiness, backing up to show off a bit to the crowd; more cheering. "...I'm not going to survive this fight if I try that again." Assassiness thought to herself. "Gonna have to try side swiping him then." She faced Groovy Taxi and steadied up, readying her blades once more. She darted at her opponent once more, the same way she did the first time. "Ha! You Shtoopid kid! Aye'll crush ye in no time!" the centaur bellowed. But, little did he know what she had in store. She shifted her feet and darted past him, outstretching her blades just enough to tear into the centaur, who was surprised by this successful attack, and became stunned. Perfect. Assassiness took no time at all to face him and dart at him again as he faced her. It worked. Groovy Taxi couldn't react fast enough and soon enough, Assassiness slammed him into a wall. "Well well!," Groovy Taxi grunted through clenched teeth. "Ye'rr a tough lil' kid!" 1332

Discussion / The Epic of Robot Arena 2« on: February 04, 2013, 07:26:22 PM »
In a world named Robot Arena 2, battle and strife eternal is all that matters. The undying, human-like struggle for dominance and power, and the unending will to demonstrate such power. Bards, Warriors, Mages, Assassins, all sorts of disciplines and walk-a-likes come and hone their skills amongst their brethren and companion, from the smallest of fleet footed fighters to the largest of hulking beasts. These battles may be earthshaking, they may be minuscule scuffles or massacres achieved by domination. The size, the cast, the effect, none of these matter.
The ending of words is Strife Eternal. Our story starts with Assassiness. ==============================-----------------------------------===================================== Assassiness, who'd been eagerly awaiting the Arena since the day she was created, now stood at the Arena wall. Her shiny blue metallic armor gleamed furiously, highlighting its various spikes and blades. Her matte black helmet, which resembled that of a rhinoceros' horns, did exactly the opposite while still exerting furiousity. Her opponent, a yellow quadrupedal centaur of sorts, waited for her in the arena while strafing back and forth and turning, waving its stalagmite-esque weapons and getting reactions from the crowd. A regular in the Arena, it seems. Assassiness entered the Arena, feeling the weight of the crowd's cheering and excitement on her shoulders. She flipped out her hidden double-edged blades as she neared her opponent. She was Steel Reign, and this could be her Son of Whyachi. The announcer introduced the Arena to the crowd, and then introduced the contenders. "We have a newbie today it seems! Say hecko to the Newcomer folks, as her name's Assassiness! Coming in at 391.4kg and adorned with spikes and blades of all sorts, it seems like she'll be a tough nut for our regular fighters!," the announcer bellowed. "And what a regular we have here today! You all know Groovy Taxi, right?!" The crowd exploded with cheers and excitement. 'Groovy Taxi' dug its hooves into the floor, spinning and flipping its stalagmites wildly. "The contestants are armed, the Octagon is set, it's time to break in a newbie!," the announcer shouted, prompting the horns to sound, and as if clockwork, Assassiness and Groovy Taxi rushed towards each other. 1334
Site News and Feedback / Re: Question about Posting« on: February 04, 2013, 06:24:43 PM »https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,51.1470.htmlWas originally gonna put it there but I gave it more thought and it would *sort of* be off topic, and I really don't wanna confine it to one thread. General discussion is fine. It is actual material from RA2 and it is more about showcasing the story than the bots.Well, that makes sense. Part of the reason why I was debating about putting it in there was because I wasn't entirely sure what 'general discussion' included and excluded. Thanks ![]() 1335
Site News and Feedback / Question about Posting« on: February 04, 2013, 05:39:25 PM »
So there's this thing I wanna do, it's basically like telling a story while using bots from RA2 + screenshots and all that good stuff, like I'll have two or more bots fight (with or without a Human-controlled bot) and I'll take screenshots of cool moments and write like epic things about it. For example, say I have Mud Runner and Emergency fight. Mud Runner gets flipped really high into the air by Emergency, I screenshot and I let the fight continue (I'll have do the same fight over 9000 times for good screenshots but it's worth it).
Now I have plenty of screenshots, and I'm ready to write. Yeah, Mud Runner walked into the arena like that, and then Emergency did this, and then that happened, and then Mud Runner beat Emergency, and yeah! So I fit the words around the screenshots and add a little cilantro and you've got a story with pictures. It won't be anything entirely important and I don't mind if you don't read it or take a look at it but I wanna do it just for the ![]() Now here's my problem. I don't know what part of the forum I should put this thing, so I've narrowed down the sections to a few possibilites (and an "are you joking?" section) -Robot Arena 2 -> General Discussion: Makes sense, it's just general discussion and stuff about RA2 and should fit perfectly, but something's off. -Robot Arena 2 -> DSL TC Showcase -> (my) showcase: Again, makes sense and some of them would be my bots, but not all of them would be and it wouldn't fit the showcase spirit. Off Topic -> Fantasy Robot Games: I just thought of this one because of the Fantasy/RP bot tournaments and this would sort of be similar to that. Probably the best one. And the "no just no" one... Junkyard -> Playground: yeah I'd rather not have my work splattered with spam and flame and crap. TRiaS tried to work on a creepypasta in playground and it got pooped all over, and I don't want to meet that same fate. So, where could I put this? 1336
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Sylandro's DSL Sp0rkcase« on: February 04, 2013, 03:14:18 PM »I know, but i just needed it to be more wedgy, and it can flip most Lightweights.an assortment of flippermakers is all of your solution. besides, with a judge burst you really don't need to worry about flipping lightweights so much as getting under them, and flippermakers (I'm assuming it's IRL because judge burst) are wedgy enough to get under basic IRL bots. 1337
Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: February 04, 2013, 03:12:31 PM »There's this new thing called PMS, we just invented it and it's sort of a foreign technology but it should be good enough to suit your needs! seriously though I don't even like the troll patrol but I agree that spamming this forum because of another forum is a bad reason to spam this forum, so don't spam this forum. You're even spamming in Main forum. C'mon man, you should know better. 1338
Contests / Re: Vote BOTM Feb 2013« on: February 04, 2013, 02:56:01 PM »If there was an active 24/7 stable server for real-time non-ai robot battles would that help give some interest back here? I play RA2 to build a bot and fight it, I get no satisfaction in working on a bot then trusting it tothis I'm sure every n00b first believes that Tournaments are online (I did) and they're sort of disappointed when they find out the truth, like I was. If we could actually run Tournaments online, d'you know how much more fun and intense and engaging it would be? Sure, seeing your bot fight for itself is nice, but using your bot the way its meant to be used? It's a massive difference. 1339
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Sylandro's DSL Sp0rkcase« on: February 04, 2013, 02:29:04 PM »Yeah, it was inspired by Kokossei's Jester, and i originally wanted Texan Twister to be a MW.lol Jester was the first thing I thought of when I saw it, feels good to be inspiring to people. You could fancy up that flipper though a bit, maybe. Also, y u no post this: are you actually going to follow through and write out the fights and what not?Yes, i'll right the matches. 1340
