Well, if MV has indeed mixed Stock and DSL, I think the match that he filmed should be voided and re-done properly, because of any imbalances in the components. Not for my match, but for the fairness of the people who lost. Stock should stay with stock and DSL with DSL.
I was really under the impression that the tourney was going to be 1-on-1 fights in a Stock arena. If I had known that you could go OOTA quite easily, I wouldn't have entered a somewhat glitchy and unstable bot.
Also, please use a different filming angle. The one that is being used is perhaps the worst angle to use. It distorts the bots and completely screws up the depth, making it nearly impossible to see what's going on.

So can anyone tell me why a stock tourney is being held in a DSL arena? If MV has the bots in DSL, then everything is unbalanced because of stock/DSL mixing.

What the  arena were you using? I couldn't see anything that went on at all. Also, there is no way in that Tornado, or any other bot for that matter, could fly that high.

New bot:  It's in the prototype stage still, but I really like where it's going. I figured that I'd post it before Naryar posts one, like he always seems to do :P It's underweight-ness is to make room for a srimech, but I haven't been able to make a realistic one yet. I figure that it will be one of the first revisions.

I found the dialogue at the end a bit unnecessary, but at least you guys have something now. Also, in before "unfair because you hosted the fights" ... because I'm gonna say it myself. AC might be the more battle-tested machine but as long as you, Tankcat or any of either of your friends host it, the matches should be void. I agree with you. I would voulenteer, but I don't have Fraps or anything else. I can still host some fights if need be if you guys are alright with summaries and screen shots.

A poker/hammer is a self defeating bot. Every time you want to hammer something, the poker pushes it away. Mabye you could do something at the HW level, but the LW level is just too restricted for a complex bot.  It sucks :\

I made one like that, except it has plastic and 2 maces along with 6 razors instead of 8 razors. DSA + 8 razors was overweight. I'll send it in to see what you think.
