Custom Components Showcase / Re: Pay Tribute With Replicas« on: December 05, 2009, 01:16:31 PM »
Here's my replica, Scorpion.
![]() I was originally replicating Spirit of Scorpion, see one on left, but the person who asked for the replica asked me do keep the robot the same but skin it in its Series 7 getup (on right). It fights well but is a bit slow. I couldn't do the frilly bits, I'm not that good. 13184

In AoD, Behemoth is overpowered.

How late do you want them to open? I can sort it if I know the time. The thing Nary found was it. However, the number doesn't directly correspond to time. For instance, 200 makes them open at 1:20 if you do a 3-min match.

Another question, is anything wrong with these bindings?
list.append(("Plunderbird 5","Omni",{'nose':math.pi*2,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':100,'throttle':100,'turn':30,'turnspeed':5,'weapons':(24)})) Here is the bot in question and its bindings: https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/plunderbird.zip I have even tried remaking the bot, it still crashes. This is vital, so a quick response would be greatly appreciated. 13192

General Support / Copying Components« on: December 04, 2009, 03:01:23 PM »
Sonny Resetti, Thyrus and I are doing something. For one of our battles, we have robots whose components' skins clash. We have tried the tutorial on duplicating components from the BeetleBros website, but it crashes Sonny's game and my computer doesn't even recognise decompiled.gmf's so I can't recompile them. Does anybody know how else we can create copies of the DSL disc and extenders and the flipper segments?

Two pistons fire from either side of the bot, but they don't have weapons. The only weapons are a few spikes on the front.

Another problem, can topknot.py be used for a rammer?
(It uses four pistons, but I'd rather not give too much away about my bot, I'm going to soon showcase it) 13199
