Although this one probably won't compare to Sonny Resetti's replicas above, This recent one I did has earned itself a solo appearance, because I think I did this one pretty well.

Diotoir

Here's the Series 3/4 version of Diotoir, complete with a Spring-loaded flipping arm, reasonably good Fur Effects, and the Evil-looking face to match. The mouth is drawn on using Paint, whereas the eyes are a component from the Alphasim RW AI pack. I particularly like how the eyes follow you around the room in this picture!

Golden: Don't revive that argument please.

Click already stated he wasnt making that many more replicas.

I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to. I was just stating that I hoped that that one replica could be in there, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Let me guess. Is it Iron Awe 5? Envy? Thor?

Which replicas would you like to see in DSL?

I'd like a Cassius II replica in there.

ok.

anyone else?

Why, is there a problem? All I wanted was to know if I was allowed to use AI components or not, and how to send you my robot once I'm done building it.

EDIT: Also  with Ankle Biter failing i am probably going to try and replicate Inferno Lab's VS The Missing Link.

OK, good luck with that, Naryar. I'll be looking forward to seeing it go up against the DSL Cassius 2 replica I'm working on! ^_^

Let's see, I think I can helpwith all those issues...

1) You can only make a "chain" of up to a certain number of attachments, that's why you can't put a weapon on

2) Have you tried adjusting "Range of Motion Start/Range of motion end" in the bot construction section?

3) What kind of "cone?"

Also, new replicas:

Mortis:

Skullmania:

I don't have pics of the originial, this si the only vidoe of it I could find:

Ah, I see you've done a Series 3 Mortis replica too, Sonny? That's great!

yeah there is a deadline. its 10/31/09.

and there is also an Edit button. Use it.

OK, thanks for the info, Badnik. And sorry, I forgot to use the edit button that time-I'll use it next time, let me assure you.

Oh, and are AI components allowed to be used? And how can I send you my robot when It's finished?

The newest revisions look great. I like how you took the time to improve them. That is something I never really took the time to do with any of my replicas at the beginning of the showcase.  Great work!

Thanks, Jack! I felt those old ones needed a bit of fine-tuning anyway. Also, I'm planning to rework Cassius 2 into a DSL machine and enter it into the "Replica Wars"  = D

Actually, you know what I think I'll do? I'll take my stock Cassius 2 replica, modify it to become DSL Compatible, then I'll upload it so I can enter. Who knows, maybe I could win a battle or two!  ^_^

PS. Is there a deadline for this?

Why do they weigh so much?

It must've been the Heavy Steel Armour I applied (It's part of AlphaSim's RW AI Pack). Anyway, other than that, what do you think?

OK, I'm back again after temporarily killing this discussion. This time, I've remade two of my earlier replicas.

Cassius 2
I believe I've improved on my old one in every way with this one. After Sonny Resetti showed me how to make the Flip-up Paddle properly (Thanks Sonny!), I can now mount it on the outside without it looking as bad as my original did. I also adjusted the length of the Pneumatic Ram on the back (So now it's much closer to its original 75cm approximate length), and gave it more powerful drive motors with slightly more exposed wheels, to stimulate the effect of the "Air Suspension" the real machine had.
The most visible change I think, was the paintjob, and the shape of the chassis itself. It's now slightly sloped on the sides (Like the original robot), gave the front Flip-up Paddle a more translucent look to it, and also put the Cassius 2 logo on both ends of the robot. All in all, I really like what I did with this one.

Panic Attack (Series 3)
The changes were not so major on this one, but changing a few little things about it greatly improved it in terms of both looks and fighting ability. The front is now more sloped, and spruced up the eyes a little. I'm very pleased with how they turned out, as they now make the front end look so much more like the original robot. I also was able to right on the sides with the proper font (I eventually found that Army-Style Stencilling that every other computer user in the world seems to be using!), and I also swapped around the patterns on the top. My only complaint about it is how I made the yellow maybe...a little too dark. It looks like PA Gold from Series Six! Other than that, I like this one, too.

Would it be possible to make Chaos 2 faster and wider than he was previously? That way, I think it'd perform much more like the real thing.

And also, a Cassius 2 replica would be nice! How about it, Click? = )
