The True BBEANS (50 points): Beat Child's Play IV with Spinner from the West.
Curiosity Killed the Bot (5 points): Find out what happens when you turn hazards on in the Mini Combat Arena. Rock beats...Paper? (15 points): Beat a popup with a rammer in the same weight class. 1283

It was placed in its own sub-forum with its own moderators to keep the leaderboard updated and make/accept achievement ideas. Catch-All (1000 points): Have the same bot win a Major League tournament, BOTM, and be inducted into the RA2 Hall of Fame. 1284

This is far from being combat effective but whatever I'll fix it
![]() ![]() What? It's a clone of Quark? Well...it has a razor weapon-breaker thing that makes it different from every single bot ever, at no cost of armour. :D 1285

Chassis rebuilding is generally a very good habit to get into, so it's best to start early now so you don't become one of those "But I don't WANT to rebuild the chassis!" people in the future. Here, you can rotate the battery 90 degrees so it's vertically in line with the Z-teks rather than horizontal, getting you a narrower back. The front may also have to be widened to either make room for a second Snapper2 on the other side, or to place the snapper you have now in the middle if you don't know snapper loading. Finally, the height should be exactly 5 clicks above the bottom, that is to say going to the very lowest height and dragging the slider up so it moves up a tiny bit 5 times. You'll know you've got it right if you can fit a Z-tek but not a vertical Snapper2. If that results in the DDTs not fitting, then I think having a shallower chassis wedge/longer chassis would save more weight than just making the entire thing taller. Good luck!

If neither using all pinks or all blacks has an effect on power supplied at the start of a match, a mix of the two really shouldn't make a difference; which I tested and confirmed in the BOTM thread. (don't kill me ACAMS)

Although I would normally recommend having 2 blacks here, I want to suggest having 1 black, normal Z-teks, and then either more weapons, chassis armor, or an extra wedge to add with the leftover weight, just for the sake of staying as far away as possible from the typical Pyscolone popup. (which you might want to try later on for chassis management - it's a popup with HP Z-tek drive, 2 blacks, rubber wheels, a DDT wedge, two DDT weapon motors, 8 razors, and...a control board :P)

Edit: Geice why do you always have to own me at everything 1292

I'm still discussing it in the BOTM thread. xD (aka spamming it up)

Contests / Re: Vote BOTM Aug 2011« on: July 30, 2011, 11:03:31 PM »Though the Pinks are reaching higher still in your example..Only by a little bit, and definitely not enough to convince me that more batteries really do help with supplying power. Flip heights vary wildly anyways depending on when the enemy bot is flipped. On that note, I did get a flip on Poptart that tossed it up to the ceiling with the 8 pinks bot, but didn't get a screenshot due to bad reaction time and camera angle, but I just felt that was luck. Ok, so I tore off Crazy Gadget's side-ram plates, and 3 irons, and replaced the section of it's chassis that holds Blacks, with stacked Pinks.Meh I'm still not inclined to believe the theory due to popup hits, like flippers, varying so much due to when the weapons are fired, or to put it another way, luck. Is there some sort of program that displays the speed that burst motors go at or something? 1294

Contests / Re: Vote BOTM Aug 2011« on: July 30, 2011, 09:05:05 PM »Did you try to replace the 9 pinks with just a black and a pink and see if flipping power was changed? I really don't think there should be a difference between using a black instead of wasting weight on 8 pinks.I guess someone should test the theory posted on #5I did, it worked. 1298

It looks like there's two additional wedges under the blades, before they meet the wedges that you can see.

Which I did too, and I just noticed that it looks like it has 4 wedges; is that just an error with the image? 1300
