Thanks.  Guess I just stick to the Saw version and see how that goes.

Humm, so can you explain to me why DSL Saw uses

normal = true 1 0 0  0 1 0?

instead of just

normal = true 1 1 0?

So if I have something like this

normal = true 1 1 0  1 1 0

"True" means damage is deal regardless of direction, "1 1 0  1 1 0" means the weapon deals damage on +- X, and +-Y, but not +-Z

This is intended for a disk weapon and I just want to make sure I got things right.

Yes I did browse through all 8 pages of his history.  I just can't find anything involving serious RA2 mechanics testing, insights in modding/gmf, or RA2 programming (written software/tinker with exe/etc).  Like I see Autohotkey related stuff, but that's not really programming.

I expect GTM Tech Advisers to know more about programming and the workings of this game than I do.

I'm sorry, I thought Tech Adviser was more general then just about RA2. You do seem to be a bit cautious about my "programming skills", perhaps these references will convince you (don't get me wrong, I don't like to brag, but I don't like to be seen n00b either): http://stackoverflow.com/users/565635/nightcracker#qpage_1-anpage_1-qsort_votes-ansort_votes, https://github.com/nightcracker/ncUI (horribly outdated UI for WoW, yes I played that)
EDIT:  I take back everything I said.  Having another person to answer questions is always better than having another person that causes problems.  It's not like the title comes with anything other then workloads and annoyances.

Lol maybe I under-act if I didn't manage to lighten up the mood with that post.

Your posts are weird because they always revolve about accusations of what "others" might do, following by you trying to deny it.  But given you come up with all those things it is only rational to infer that the "others" you accused is actually you.  The ultra seriousness to a lighthearted humor also doesn't help.

I am simply trying to give a possible reaction that other people could have. Granted it's a bit of a wacky theory, why would anyone hate that guy. You know, things that don't necessarily come out of your feelings, but just theories made up by your mind. If I hated him I would state it, plain and simple, or would try to attack him undercover in any way. I am not doing such things.

No, I don't hate him. What am I supposed to do, crack a bad joke to try to convince you about this ? Have I expressed hate towards this guy in any way ?
You probably missed this part that I added in

Which means you don't actually have to convince "me" of anything since I am clearly the self absorb kind.  In fact, it's how much you try to defend yourself despite the lack of accusation that draws the attention.

HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE!!!!!!!!!!

Why do Naryar always got these weird responses?

I "DEMAND" RA2 Technical Advisers to be some Outcast Geeks who's first language is programming.

Why do you over-act so ?

Also, why are my responses weird ?

People tend to put flamethrowers on flails on spinners.

I did deliberately give them pure 1.1 piercing.

Though if people find them too weak I might shift some of their HP to DP.  I can't do anything about the flame damage.

DSL shouldn't be "about" anything, it's what you make of it, as long as you are demonstrating skill at the game, you deserve respect.
As such, DSC has a lot of respect from me.
Contradiction.  Why should skills matter when it's not "about" anything?

I am not saying we don't have "preferences" but skill cannot be talked about without a goal/purpose.

See these bots "looks" good, and yes he can increase the amount of razors by simplifying the extenders.  I will argue that the pile of steel extenders are not there for aesthetic purposes, and are also not efficient in combat.  So regardless of rather his purposes is combat of aesthetic, they can be replace with something else.

Yeah and that's WRONG?  Who proved it's wrong?  ME.

So you just have to DEAL WITH IT :trollface :.

On topic, talking about efficiency is pointless at any moment you hack something not intended to be balanced.

Government had known to do pretty brunt and stupid things in the past.  Just because something will cause more harm then good in a long run, does not mean they won't try to do it.  And whatever they do tends to be very heavy handed.

This is especially true in the US and most representative democracy, where the optimal decision is to think as short term as possible due to election cycles.  As long as it looks like they are "doing something about it", it's good enough.  Let the next guy take the blame for the downfall.

However, don't underestimate the extend government will invade your privacy.

Fighting internet piracy is like trying to throw coco-pops at a rabbit in a highly windy area

It just wont work and if you finally succeed.. its not going to achieve much..
When the government does it, they will carpet bomb the area with thousands of boxes worth of coco-pops.  And if no rabbit was hit they will put a few fake ones in there.

Conspiracy Theory from me

I think many senates in congress wants to control the internet in general.  While the government can surely "stop the whole damn thing", they are currently incapable of doing so selectively in large scale.  These sort of stuffs allow a foot in the door to develop the mean of "search and remove", so they can selectively control whatever media online in the future.

You can't defend from VS.  Even if you take no damage you still get tip over and that's that.
